Got this and it’s fantastic! As for the DMW-XLR1? Don’t miss it as I just got the Tascam FR-AV2 for 192Khz 32-bit float with a large number of timecode options.
Appreciate it Matthew, always dig the content. I've been interested in the Rigid offerings, looks solid. Panasonic needs to create an XLR handle like Sony has for the FX3. If that's not feasible, then they could do a hot shoe extension cable that allows you to move the XLRs wherever you want. There are third party options that have tried this, but they're not reliable. That would open up so many options for rigging. I'd personally relocate the XLR unit to the back of my rig.
I guess lol but at the time of recording the S5ii Cineback isn't available. I mean there is more than one cage for every camera nowadays too. Imagine your only option for a cage was made by 1 company🤷🏼♂
Wanted to ask since it’s a very niche question. I wasn’t able to get a s5ii and opted for the s5 with my budget, but would love to rig it like this in the future. I know the bodies of the two are slightly different, but wanted to know if you think it’s possible to get an s5 working with that cineback.
@@MatthewDangyou Cool cool, I’ll look into it. Probably will also look into using cheese plates to obtain the same effect too. Thank ya for the constant great lumix content!
Imma show up on set with my S9 😉 But in all honesty, this rig is next level!!

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing and I hope we get more updates on the S1Hii and support for other camera in LumixLab
My, my, my...that is one sexy looking rig, man!

Thanks! I almost thought about putting the handle potentially further back and the monitor even lower
@@MatthewDangyou i like low monitors even sacrificing top handles for it haha
I like your rig… like a lot
Thanks I think this is my most favorite build yet
I'm waiting for the MK2 of this rig with the DMW XLR adapter incorporated.
I stopped waiting and bought the Tascam FR-AV2. Rig is amazing!
@@BootStrapTurnerVideography I’m gonna get that too then.
This looks exactly like the cineback offering from Caleb Pike

I would DM the people since this rig is built specifically for the S5ii, S5iiX, and the G9ii camera bodies
