Seems the moutheir they are, the bigger a U T hit it is. For me, I would be tempted to do beaters on some of those jerks. I get pulled over, and even if the guy is patronizing as hell, I am like 'Yes sir, ok here's my licence' and etc. You can't win an argument with a cop and you also don't know what that guy was dealing with 15 minutes earlier. A complaint is not enough to ID someone. A "subject of a complaint" is not the same as a "suspect". The officer needs to investigate the complaint and determine if there is even a suspected crime which should be reasonable and articulatable. She did not articulate a suspicion of a crime nor did she actually detain the workers. All she did was have an emotional outrage trying to assert her non-existent authority over them. That was not appropriate behavior or protocol expected of a public servant.

Sadly, yes. These businesses are so desperate to keep employees that they take what they can get. Went to a fast food restaurant. Took my order, then said it would be a while. I asked why she didn't tell me before I ordered? She said she wasn't allowed. They were rude to me after responding nicely. She said, "You're still talking." I was old enough to be her momma. I would have left. I was trying to get food for the unhoused. It took so long. One of the guys had left.

It was an unlawful demand and unprofessional interaction. It is so frustrating to see so many videos of police mistreating the public because so many don’t know their role or the Constitution. They should have to get an A in an introductory course about the Constitution at a community college of university before they even get into the police academy, and they should be thoroughly trained on upholding the Bill of Rights before they graduate a police academy.
