This is beautiful. He was a very strong man to sing this song a year before he died. I loved his voice. He was such a handsome young man. So sad that he passed away at a young age. I had a big crush on him in the 60's. RIP Rob Grill ❤
God bless Rob. He still always gave as much as he could, even when it was evident he was not well. What a class act, a sweetheart of a man. I'll miss him so much. He had a tremendous personality and wit. He WAS the GR...sleep in peace now dear heart...no more pain. ~~And thank you.....

From 1970-1975, we lived in apartment on the beach on Long Island, NY. My dad brought his red 8 track player to the beach every day in summer, and the Grass Roots 8 track was one he often played. Their songs were happy songs and still bring a smile to my heart when I hear them. Rob had such a mellifluous voice and along with Warren and Dennis, they complimented each other well. Even as a young girl, I thought Rob Grill was so handsome, and I feel he was a beautiful soul too. You could tell he was really in pain at the end but he must have loved singing so much, that he would continue. Sending warm wishes to his family left behind.
Rob was loved and will be missed. I grew up with the Grass Roots music and will always love their hits. Rob was the lead singer and so dedicated to the group. I hope he is singing in rock and roll Heaven now with all the greats and with Rick who was the drummer. Love all his songs...His music will live on forever.

Poor Rob needs to take a rest and get well. He's a great talent, but we want him healthy. Just saw Mark Dawson and Grass Roots last night and they were fantastic. Mark is the man for the job till Rob gets better.

What health challenges did/is Rob Grill having. He looked very tired in this video. Looks like he was giving everything he had and he was sitting. It's too bad.
I'm a big fan of Rob and the group. They didn't get the respect for all those hits. But Rob's illness has taken a toll on his voice. I wish him well, but he's stretching it now. The Grass Roots with Mark Dawson is just a tribute band.
Now and then you see a soul and you fall in love, you can't do a thing about it. For me, that soul was Rob Grill. Forever loved and missed.
