Lovely unpacking! It's true that the red is very beautiful too. A little more discreet than the Gold... The second one you show at the end of the video was bought from Wonda. Can you tell us where the first red one came from? You can see when the playstore is open. Was it added after the box was opened?
That red color is pretty nice. Wish they would have put the red on the cover display. If 1+ decides to drop a equivalent in the us I'm going to be pretty pissed tbh. But I'll still trade in for the upgrade.
Hi @averagedad , i have ordered OP Open in Emerald Dusk and am waiting for delivery. Im also waiting for the voyager black drop for uk end of next week and ill probs order that too but only keep one. I know the black one is lighter, but am wondering which one do you think will be better in conducting heat/ is the extra weight worth it for a glass back which will stay cooler. Apparently the black one is also very poor quality vegan leather compared to others on the market?
Would you be able to share any details about the case that came with it? It looks exactly like the Protective Set OnePlus plans to sell for the Open in a few weeks. My main question about it would be if it raises above the camera bump glass and if the stand makes it more flush with the camera while sitting flat on the table. It's impossible to tell in pictures what it looks like in profile.
Hi @Average Dad keep up the good work on your phone review vids 👍, I'm using the Xiaomi Fold 3, i love it and I've had no real issues with the Chinese ROM even tho at first it was a little challenge getting the phone set up. I want to now buy the Oppo N3 for work purposes instead of the One Plus Open as its quite a bit cheaper if i go via Wonda Mobile, does the link on this video section enable me to get some sort of discount on the device at Wonda? It did get me a discount on the Xiaomi, but am not sure if the same will be the case on the Oppo N3...
Looking forward to buying this device, but need to know if I can use Google pay and other g services. Thanks for your reviews, are the most honest on RUclips. Keep like that.
Hi mate, just knew that the Oppo find n3 will be released in Australia. It's now in preorder. Now, my question is, will this device be the Chinese version but in English? Or, will Oppo make an special version for Australia? Just wondering because buying the n3 from AliExpress will save $400 AUD. Thanks
Hello Mate. Thank you for your videos. I have a question, do you know where i can buy oppo find n3 in gold with global ROM? Is those from Singapure (16GB 512GB) are Global with Google and android auto. Thank you.
7:54 What are the nuianses of the chinese ROM? can I still do like google pay with Uk banks ( some phones I've bought in the past havent and I needed to return them) I'm thinking on getting the RED Oppo 16GB 1TB version and it says its a Chinese version not a Global version WTF does that mean hahaa. Do Wonda have a 30 day return policy I can't see a chat function or info on the website and you seem pretty clued up on all this stuff PLEASE HELP!
@@AverageDadOfficial ok nice I have been a loyal oppo user for a number of years and I just find the basic handsets don't have a large enough screen for me so on the aim to stay with oppo I find this is the best option
Hmmm since its the same device there has got to be way to flash the Oneplus rom on the Oppo. Would be sweet to have that color without the chinese rom issues.
My issue with Oppo is their software. I got the original reno 5g flagship in 2019/2020 and its already stopped receiving updates. It was also very very late to get the android 12 update i believe. Which in my opinion isnt good seeing it was the flagship at the time. Another issue with the reno 5g the phone is unlocked which is why i bought it however the 5g is capped to ee only for some reason.
Still think the Mate X5 is a better looking phone but in all fairness the OnePlus Open is the only one I've seen in person. But from what I've seen the Mate X3/5 is still the best looking foldable imo
You should unboxing for the first time front of your audience. This is re-unboxing. The device already has many fingerprint it makes the unboxing video unpleasant.
LOL everything went smashing until he took off the phone wrapper and exposed all the grubby oily fingerprints on the screen :D So i ended the video right there. haha
Stunning! I couldn't live with the Chinese ROM though. Took nearly a week to get my N2 working 'properly' and I'm still limited to a handful of notifications only. Hopefully someone will port the OP Open ROM to N3 🙏🏻
The N3 has the global ROM available. I'm using it now! In Asia we all got the Oppo Find N3 instead of the OnePlus Open. Not sure if the limited edition version has the global version available though.
@@Deathwisher85 How can I get the full version you're talking about? On Wonda, for example, they specify that it's a Chinese ROM, including on the N3 12/512.
@@AverageDadOfficial so what? explain to me the economic sense of releasing two identical devices under different names. The N1 and N2 were excellent COMPACT devices. I can finally grab the Find N3 Fold down here in Aus! That unboxing looked so awesome too!
I'm also in Australia. Do you know if we can use Google pay?
Hope you enjoy it!
of course, Wonda install it for you
Hi, I'm very curious on how the CN version works out for you ?
Notification delay ?
Android Auto ?
i have said 100 times, no android auto... notifications come through perfectly tho.

I can't believe a middle aged Scotsman invited me to watch him open a box for 2 mins ... and I did ... and enjoyed it!!!!😂😂😂😂
What about software differences?
Do you know when it will be available to buy in the UK? I've been waiting for it
Never... that is why the OnePlus exists
@@AverageDadOfficial Awwww... I've to go to OnePlus then ta x
If i buy it from China will it work in the UK? With the SIM and also Google play store?
Of course, only RealMe need activation as they are region locked but i don't stock them
Does that case with the kick stand also come with the OnePlus open?
sadly not
Will the N3 be sold with contract deals by UK carriers like EE, O2 etc? Not everyone have £1000+ upfront..
No, this is china only
Where can i get my hands on the pen that ships to US?
Gizstop
I still am in love with the vivo folds (all of them)
loving the video, interested to see how the stylus/pen works on the N3
Video showing it off starts soon!

Why not just by the OnePlus Open. It's the exact same phone but guaranteed to have Google services.
