  • Bad Driving Caught around Essex. Mostly minor inconveniences really including not giving way at roundabouts, cutting up, lane hogging, near misses and others. I am not one of the dash cammers who accelerates to cause issues which is probably why many of my clips appear not that severe, its due to defensive driving and awareness to avoid crashes.

Get rid of speed cameras. Install AI cameras for lane discipline, signalling, brake checking, and tailgating.

Would be interesting, would hate to think of the mayhem that would cause though

11:30 how are you calling that "impatience". The car in front is slowing to take the exit, the overtaking lane is available, clear and safe to use, so they use it to avoid having to unnecessarily slow down. That's literally what the lane is there for? Ridiculous statement.

Extra moves for little benefit all to avoid slowing a bit, impatience in my book. Looks like you're one who does this thinking it's worth it.

@@EssexBadDriving How is it impatience when slowing down is totally unnecessary because there is literally an entire lane specifically there for doing this exact manoeuvre, and it is open and safe to use? That's good driving in my books because you're safely using the road to it's full design to maintain traffic flow, rather than just blindly following the car in front like a sheep. That's just laziness.

This was caused as the car didn't look beyond their bumper, read the road and others on it, reacted late and overtook. Extra moves to overtake for no benefit, if they were actually paying attention and not being impatient they'd have eased off, let the car ahead exit and continue on with literally no harm.

@@EssexBadDriving except it's still better driving to change lane when safe and possible than slow down? Maintain traffic flow where possible and use all the road available to you so that you avoid creating phantom traffic jams......what is the point in slowing down behind someone when there is a free lane right there explicitly for overtaking slower moving traffic? The overtake inconveniences exactly nobody, and wasn't done in an aggressive or "impatient" manner. They simply changed lanes to maintain speed. That's simply not impatience...it's good use of the road.

we aren't going to agree here, you're not getting my point that they weren't thinking ahead, only looking as far as their bonnet and then impatiently overtaking. All it needed was a slight lift off anticipating someone exiting, no need to overtake (extra lane changes). That sort of late lane change is often accompanied with a lack of observations, lucky no-one was in lane 2 at the time.
