I think what makes Belly a bit more unnerving passing by is that it’s design is more doll like, with its wide legs and arms, it conceals any human element. With the bear collab and this one, you can still clearly see the person inside the costume, it’s legs, so the only fear isn’t if it’s a person or not, it’s whether or not this person in the costume is going to scare me or not. What I’m saying is Belly is peak prank design.
When people ask me what I like about Korea I often show them Bellygom videos. I have only been to the ROK twice but I find it to be a very charming place filled with people who have genuinely well developed and fun personalities. Koreans don't have to rely on superficial trappings to tell you how interesting and unique they are; they have enough confidence to let others find it, and Belly is very good at bringing out the spirit of the people ^^
Man .. just have to show some love to the writing staff and team behind this character and their videos. They must over dose on cute stuff trying to figure out the little skits and subtitles. I see you guys! After a meeting they must go home and listen to heavy metal and drink beer to balance it out.
