The internet and social media has made it easy to be a "voice" in the crowd without having any repercussions. It has also given people the freedom to act like idiots and talk real big. Twitter is probably the worst followed closely by FaceBook. A very sad commentary on who and what we have become.
Ignore the haters. Keep up the good work!
Does the internet create an atmosphere of negativity? Absolutely. I've seen it called the "online disinhibition effect," though I prefer the more colorful "John Gabriel's Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory." That says: normal person + anonymity + audience = total fuckwad.
It sounds like the ads are having the intended effect, which is to spark discussion, and maybe even a little outrage. Nice work!

Conservatives forget that "We the people" means ALL the people and not just we the people that think just like me. People in general seem to be getting much more in your face about their opinions when it differs from yours than I can remember. Very much an us vs them mentality. ~Viva La Thruxton
