This is why I despise the marketing term of "like a ### inch screen!".. it's completely meaningless
FOV + PPD are the only measurements that actually tell you what you need in this scenario, and even if people are new to AR/VR and don't know exactly what those numbers 'feel like' they are at least directly comparible with other devices without guess work

Rokid also sells an external battery dock/station device that can power the glasses while letting your phone or tablet only output video.
This is useful so your phone/tablet isn't directly powering the glasses which would eventually lead to you being forced to take a break from using the glasses so you can charge your phone/tablet.

I think company should think out of the box , try to learned what google tried to do in their failed google ar glass project , i mean its not product only for media consumption , its also for information provider as for example shows you some navigation info , reminder and stuff , some special ui designed for the glass screen so the user not get bothered by big screen , view while walking and i hope future product comes with 6dof to use it as internal building navigation maybe , so you can find your car parking very easily for example , and i think you can do alot more stuff !

I don't think these glasses will look good on the shelf where your TV is sitting right now. Imagine your entire family sitting on the sofa watching a pair of glasses on the shelf. Utterly ridiculous. 🤪

ALL vr will at some point return to how they are doing things right now xD The fact they dont have to stick a whole fat battery and SoC into the headset means they can just focus on the style, weight, size, and monitors/out vs trying to cam it all in there.

I don't understand how these glasses are different from normal VR headsets. They are not capable of tracking you correctly, is there anything else? Could I use them to play steam-VR games?

I think the concept is to just have a head-mounted display, primarily for media consumption. Anything VR/AR like needs to be handled by a connected device, so you get that 2016 phone-attached-to-head VR experience except the phone is at the end of a USB-C cable. If you wanted competent VR, you'd for sure be looking at another product.

Think of it as on screen display map while you are walking, multi tasking office work loads via multiple desktop mode on your glasses compared to 3 or more physical monitors, this isnt intended for vr, but they just can do some of it which is a plus, and they are lighter since no battery and other internal hardware on them, the Nreal design looks like regular rayban glasses from couple feet away, you don't look like a cyber punk weirdo when you are using this outside your house XD which mostly be good when operating drones, but for me the best feature is that I can see the keyboard and mouse while having an on screen display, I want to play non vr games with that kind of display while also making of the open view of the glasses on the lower section of the glass at home, I am still undecided on which brand to get, didn;t expect rokid will make a 2nd version already.
