Wow, wet hair is definitely the way to go! All other tutorials are relatively straight, slippery hair and every time I tried my hair kept getting tangled and sticking to itself...trying it wet made it actually manageable and though it isn't perfect I was actually able to finish the whole braid. Thanks for the tutorial!

Honestly, I have been trying to learn how to french braid for months. It was really hard because in all of the tutorials I watched the modelers hands were in the way or they were going to fast. But now i can actually see the technique clearly and slowly and its really easy for me. Thank you so much for making this awesome tutorial!!!!! :) :) :)
Out of all the tutorials I saw, this one help the most. Why? Simply because she said not to look at yourself while doing it! Was afraid to try a French braid on myself cause every time I thought about it, I saw it going wrong. First time I attempted, I saw looking in the mirror and I got confused. But the second time, I closed my eyes and was able to get it done! Thank you lady :-)

Thank you! I practice Judo/Brazilian jujitsu and French braids are one of the only ways to keep long hair secure on the mat, but I've never been able to get it right because I have thick curly hair. I also worked out how to Dutch braid as well following the same steps, thank you!

You hair is just sooo pretty! I have totally different curls, but I always end up confused and making knots and not having equal strands of hair.. It just become's a total mess. Maybe when my hair grows longer again, I will try again whilst nót looking in the mirror, just like you said :-)

Do you have any tips on mixed hair I have straight roots and curly starting about 2 inches down and it's horribly curly and frizzy my moms white and my dad's black I took mostly after my mom except for the hair and I don't know what to do about it
Oh my gosh thank you so much. I have the EXACT same hair as you (except I'm fully black) and it was so hard trying to learn French braiding from people with straight hair. They all went too fast or didn't explain clearly, I've been trying to learn how to French braid for a year now. First time seeing your video I got it down.

I look at your hair tutorials all the time, I love them, I try it and it ends up good but, the only problem is that my hair is extremely frizzy at the front and your hair is not frizzy at the front at all can you tell me what I can do to help my frizzy hair.

Do u relax ur hair or straighten it. Like when ur hair was out in this vid it looks gorgeous but I want to have my hair like that curly straight . My hair is Afro curly. I've recently just had the keratin treatment on it and it's the same as my normal hair but just made it drop instead of being a big Afro. My expection on the keratin treatment was totally different. I though it was going to be where my hair looks straights but curly like in this video of when u let ur hair out and also in a couple of other vids Uve made. Ur would mean sooooo much if u could tell me how u made ur hair like that. I've been trying but all that my hairdressers told me is that if I want it done I have to have it relaxed and my mom and myself have said that we don't want it relaxed as to not getting it back to my normal hair now.

I need this.. people pick on me about my hair.. arghh!! Can you give me advice please or tips of how to get my hair longer so I can french braid it professionally when my twists get messy and after ill do my hair and practice every single day to make my hair better for secondary school. The thing is when you french braid u want to put your finger on top of the middel to grab the hair so it stays nice and tight and also u will get the hang of it eventually. I can do it on people but not my hair
