I seen Willie at the michigan state fair when it was still on Woodward and 8 mile rd, in early 80s, it was raining and about 9 of us teen agers stood there and they jammed like the place was packed

My [large] family sang and played these two songs [and several others] 25 years ago as part of our celebration of our mother's life, here on the wild and lovely Central Coast of California. The strings of those instruments are tugging, bitter-sweet, at the strings of my heart.
The two artists I have gone to see more than any other and here they are together on stage. I wish I could have been there. These two guys and their bandmates are as real as it gets.
I wish I would have known...I would have found a way to be there.
