@@nobbynobbs8182 Yep... look at the historical map of Ukraine, especially the one from 1753 which was drawn by the Orthodox Church at the time, as it was ordered by Ivan IV and finished during Elisabeth, Empress of Russia. It is an era when Russia was way north of Ukraine and its minions only had potatoes to eat, this is probably why they all look like "potato head" nowadays.

Even a less chance to win using nukes.!!! Nobody has been able to win the war using nuclear weapons. Japan wasn't destroyed by the nuclear weapons but conventional. Hiroshima, later Nagasaki was sending the brutal and deadly message to Emperor nothing else... for example Dresden in Germany was gone in a hugely firestorm after massive airstrike and dropping phosphorus and other fuel bombs. Nuclear weapons are deterring weapons and that's all.

It's probably an act, he does not really care about a few Russian lives, its pawns to him. Russia took soldiers that should defend the borders and put them into stealing Ukraine territory. It was a calculated risk they keep taking and Putin is happy to make that trade, even if it gets more russians killed...So now he pretends to care. He knows they will eventually push Ukraine out of russian territory. Ukraine did this specifically to force more russian soldiers away from their offensive - to go defend large borders.
