Sid was a couple of years older, the only rock star besides Michael Jackson close to my age. You had to be bold as hel l to be a punk rocker in 1977. I was at a party once where the band playing was called "The Malones." Lol. ..The only thing I knew about The Sex Pistols was two names- Johnny Rotten & Sid Vicious. Their music was unknown in America, but this punk rock was violent and its followers were into short hair, self mutilation and two minute three chord songs. And one of them, Sid Viscous, was for real. Dangerous person with charisma. The punk rock James Dean. Elvis gone bad, way bad. Sid wasn't acting, he was an impetuous violent person. Of course he killed Nancy Spungeon. He blocked it out of his memory. And when he finally faced it he did the noble thing. Suicide. Punk rock Romeo and Juliet.
