So today we took the three girls shopping for school supplies. They were so excited because they never had anyone take them to shop for school supplies. We also stopped at the ice cream shop and treated them to ice cream. They were so happy and excited and the look on their faces was priceless.

Brian , I do the same I live in the USA from the Philadelphia Area and Take care of a single mother and 2 young boys I send them money to help out for them when I can I send them anywhere from 200 American to 800 a month to buy the rice and simple food and help out to pay for the dentist and back to school for them . These men have these kids and walk away they are heartless bastards it is not the kids fault. So god bess you Briain for making a difference in these kids life. I told you last week you get right and you are the best there you go. You are a great guy May God bless you

I really like those Chrome sidecars brian how much does one of those sell for. As well, could you not just mount a nice chrome box on the back of the side car to put groceries in.

I love helping the few Philippine that I take care of. I had to get the oldest to the parlor for hair straightening this year. I sent three to the dentist too. It’s better than buying more junk for me.
4:02 Brian, if you eat at least two or three mouthfuls of the eggs and/or bacon first, your blood sugar will not spike as much as it would if you eat the bread & sugar first. “The Glucose Goddess” has amazing science showing the *order* you eat the same meal has dramatic results!
(Best to skip the carbs, but eating them last is better than first.)
I used to do that buying school supplies for my nieces and nephews years back when they were little young elementary and high schools and was makes me happy when seeing them kids were happy with a big smiles on their faces that they were ready for school and much appreciated of it! 😂

Keep the 155cc bike and hook the trike side car on it. Stronger engine and probable less fuel consumption.

If you're thinking of getting a new bike to build a trike be sure to take a look at the Yamaha YTX 125. It's designed for the Philippines, comes standard with quad rear shocks, heavy duty swing arm and a trike sprocket set. Yamaha website says suggested price is 57,900. pesos.

Positive Thoughts for Trike Improvements (LOL)
Materials for saving weight: Maybe discuss with 3R’s fab shop possibility of using Aluminum tubing for sides and top of frame and only steel for the weight bearing part of the chassis. And aluminum side and top and floor panels will save lots of weight…like 60-70% less. Less weight less means less load on engine, better fuel mileage, better acceleration and braking and longer drivetrain life.
Safety: Maybe add another headlight and blinker (LED) to front passenger side. And two more brake lights (LED) in the rear. One rear passenger side and one up top for visibility. Maybe a battery powered windshield wiper for driver. Footshield/deflector for front passenger side so rocks and water don’t jump in and pound your feet or legs.
Cargo: Looks good! I would add mount points up top for a small plastic cargo box so you can throw things up top and not get wet and those you can lock too. Put hinges on those rear seats so you can flip them up to maximize cargo area. And have a removable shelf for the rear area for two levels of cargo in rear without passengers. Lips on either side for support and just store the shelf on the floor when not in use. Maybe attach a Class 3 hitch to the rear so you can use class 3 attachments like trays, lock boxes, bike racks (for Mountain Bikes!)
Convenience: I would add adjustable vents in front and rear for driver/passenger airflow. Like you can hinge those little wing windows. Add cupholders, at least 4 in front and 4 in rear. And mounts for cell phones and a blue tooth speaker so you can jam the tunes!
? Does the sidecar sit on a spring or is it fixed? I like the car wheel. It’s tough, available and car wheel bearings are cheap and bulletproof with that weight.

That trike outfit you showed today looks like a much more practical choice for the family. You still have your Yamaha for when you and your wife to go places. It is good to see you have a nice breakfast place. That gives you a chance to decompress from all the togetherness. lol When I had a houseful, occasionally I had to go on vacation in my yard barn just to get a little alone time. I think that price is very reasonable for the side car based on what you are getting. I've paid 15k for a used bike and sidecar similar to your old one. That was a pretty good deal and a rush sale. For new smaller custom built side cars we paid 25k I think the larger size you are getting and the fact you are on an island makes it a pretty good deal. I think the higher peso rate is helping you as well. Peso rate was 50 or below when we paid 25k.

We are moving to the Philippines next year and thinking about Siargao island. We were there in November of 22 and loved it. Do you know of any land for sale on the island? Thanks Brian for the update vlog. The trike is nice, but as you mentioned when you were at the TMX dealer, you asked about side windows so you would not get wet in the rain. The trike has 0 protection from the rain..... The enclosure if very nice, but no side protection.....In addition to the rain, the TMX would give you some side impact protection on the side from a potential accident.....just some thoughts...
