Why I Upgraded My Entire Lawn Mower Fleet For This LawnCare Season

- We pulled the trigger on a new lawn mower fleet for this year. We have upgraded to a 36 Hustler Super S, a 52 Hustler Super S, and a 60 X-ONE Hustler. We upgraded out lawn care setup for a number of reasons that I will list below.
1. All my mowers now have been used and abused over the years. All have well over one thousand hours and I wanted to get some new mowers with warranty to limit down time. I have heard nothing but great things about Hustler mowers so decided to give them a shot.
2. I got a really good deal on these mowers. Because of the channel we were able to work out a deal with hustler and get these mowers at a great deal.
3. I'm a homer of sorts. I like the fact that the Hustler manufacturing facility in not far from me. I like supporting local.

I am super happy for you. In my opinion you have the right 3 sizes for what you do. Not bagging grass is the ticket. We just dropped our last bagging customer this Spring. Don't apologize for success. If "they" want free stuff or deals I know what to tell them... Start a Channel.. The GM/Ford/Ram debate on mowers will never go away but the most important thing to understand is the client DOESN'T care the make and model or if it's a residential/commercial unit. It all boils down to ROI. BTW, I love my Hustler.

Nice looking fleet, and congrats on the getting Hustler to reach out to you for those. What a lot of people fail to realize is how much work you guys put into your channels and getting those manufactures to reach out. It takes time and dedication to pump these videos out. Man I love it! Glad you were able to get a deal on those mowers that means more money in your pocket! I run 36, 48, and 60 grandstands. It has worked out great for me having those sizes.

Excellent set up. It’s nice when companies recognize a genuine guy who has worked hard and given so much of his time to this community. Always love your honesty. A big plus for maintenance is commonality across fleets, whether they be mowers, trucks or airplanes, it reduces costs overall.

You were the first RUclips lawncare channel I starting watching. You definitely worked hard for what you have now. The equipment that you like is the equipment that will work the best for you. That fleet of Hustlers looks good! I ran a Fastrak hard for 6 years with no complaints. I had to switch brands because of the jobs I was into and dealer support. But, Hustler as a brand was great! No complaints!

Congrats on the new mowers! In the commercial category, Hustler builds great mowers. I grew up on my dad's 60" Super Z and loved it. I currently run an Exmark Lazer Z 52" and Scag VRide2 36" because they fit my needs and operation. To me, having a great dealership behind you matters more than the brand. It's awesome to see you and other guys using your platform to build relationships with manufacturers. That's what leads to better products for everyone. Plus, I knew making videos took a lot of work but didn't realize how much until I decided to start my own channel. Thanks for doing what you do, I've learned a lot from your videos over the past couple years.

Congratulations brother. Hard work pays off. I started my business last year with a fastrak 54 and love it so far. Hopefully I can get into a x-one or super-z someday. Plus my dealer is close and awesome. They even give out loaners if need be. That was a big plus. Keep it up.

Nice new set up just bought X one hustler myself Have used the super Z at our Church property in the past but for most years I have always run a 6 foot finish mower behind tractor on my 5 acre yard but wanted to try something different Hope this X one does a good job.👍🇺🇸

I love your honesty and transparency. Frankly, I've never understood people that get hateful when they see another person's success. All I can imagine is that possibly those folks can't relate to the hard work, sacrifice and gitty-up-n-go mentality it takes to get out there and achieve that success. I don’t see how anyone would be concerned about the deal you made for your mowers. You operate a lawn care business so you do what you need to make a living. I’m sure part of the deal was advertising for Hustler mowers-good on you for making it happen.
I just updated my equipment back in 2019. Tired of always having to fix something on the mowers. Out with the old, time for a change!

Good luck with your Hustlers. I am beginning my 6th year using a Super Z-60. I do like the cut. If you have rough ground adding the Flex Forks is helpful. I also run a Wright Stander X-52. I attended college in the town where Hustlers are made over 50 years ago.

Congrats. My oldest piece of equipment is my 21 inch Husqvarna self propelled push mower. Got it in 2017...4 years old, 5th season with it. My sit down zero turn I got in the fall of 2019. Bought new trimmers last year. 2 new hand held blowers last year. Back pack blower 2019. Hedge trimmer 2019, chainsaw last year. Finally got use my snowblower I got in 2018 this past winter. So, my oldest equipment is my push mower. If it holds up until fall, I will trade it in and get a Honda recycler. I have bought a piece of equipment every year since 2016. Want a break from buying stuff for a bit.
Hopefully gonna do some first cuts this week if it doesn't rain. I told my clients Monday the 29th for sure.
