Usually I happen to get art block during artfight and end up only being able to do 1 or 2 attacks per year and it always makes me feel so bad because people will complain about me not revenging them. This year I got like 6 attacks and could only revenge one of them.
If they get mad at someone for not revenging them, they don't even deserve a revenge.
Don't feel bad about it.
I officially quit art fight this year because I got mass attacked repeatedly and each time was breaking my permissions and it was taking a toll on my mental health. Never had this happen in the 6 or 7 years I was participating.

This was my first artfight this year, and ive been meaning to join for so long prior to now<
got art block so early on so i wasnt always able to revenge and im just glad everyone i interacted with was lovely
i saw so many people getting genuinely aggravated on tiktok and it was so disheartening
the massive mass attacks were so so cool to see ideas wise, but again, also a little daunting as a new user, im talking like hundreds of characters despite the limit
I’m very lucky that AF went well for me this year (my first year). While it was mostly just with close friends, I got a couple strangers’ attacks - and they were incredibly sweet! I didn’t get to revenge them as I got sick, but I’m quite glad they were very sweet about that 😅 I dodged a huge bullet, but the stuff going on rn hurts :(
A note: I’m also not on tik tok. That probably helped lol
the search feature is allowed for donators it used to be for everyone but now is only for donators. sad but makes sense.
personally the biggest change I want to see made is how animations are rated. Instead of just having the attack generalized in rating animation, when you go to put "full body" or whatever there's another drop down for animation, so you could click "animated" then the drop down would have the options. I think this would make ratings much better especially with how wide of a category mixed animation is. For example, I had two attacks. One was mixed animation but the only "full animation" there was is a scene with lip sync and an up close of the lips. For those who don't know, mixed animation is where there are several animation scenes and some are fully animated and some are partially. The rest was minimal/partial animation. This was rated the same as my mass attack animation that had (this is an estimate) probably 300 individually drawn frames of animation, but the intro characters weren't animated so it was mixed at BEST.
@@Squirrelstar do you think it would be best to rate animations by how many frames they have?
@@cherububi tbh yeah since like for full animation it just has to be five frames so in my opinion lemme divide my 300 frames of lip sync and hand movements from another attack by 5
It been lot in artfight. It was fun to draw others for an improvise challenge; even so, it about trying the best in art.
It would be best to ignore sycophant or those demand return from you.
For my experience, I have the best time in artfight and hobbies. Wish it upgrade for certain website like search function and username.

It kind of looks similar to fooly_grulee's artstyle imo.
Missed a few revenges for certain mass attacks. That was pretty frustrating especially since I love a good revenge chain! Side note I love the Nova character. I hope youll keep her in rotation next year! :3
@@jayehmess9504 i also love revenge chains but my friends aren’t usually into it🥲 and thank you! She will definitely be getting a little design update. i might make a video about it so stay tuned!
I had a lot of fun this year in artfight and actually discovered some new techniques and really dug into experimenting with areas of art that for a long time i've been uncomfortable with.
