Great take on the dynamic island, I certainly hope that once the hardware of the sensors is better and hidden for design, that we do not lose the functionality of the dynamic island. In on notifications, and live activities are freaking amazing.

What the iPhone 14 Pro did for phone photography, the iPhone 15 Pro did for phone videography with its Apple LOG - both total game changers. The 1/1.3" sensor seems like a bit of sweet spot right now for devices this small, also present in the DJI Mini 3/4, Action 4, etc. I think this year we'll probably see 1" sensors being put in everything as the next big improvement :)
So in agreement with you, Chris! I've hung on to my iPhone 14 Pro and the same annoyances you have with the lightning port align with me. I'm also still using my lightning AirPods Pro 2s and I have to hunt down lightning cables when I want to charge. I'm excited to upgrade this year though, and get USB C and a better telephoto lens!
The arc case has saved my brother's IP13PM 5 times on concrete 😂😂😂
I have the 15 Pro Max and I solely upgraded for USB-C. My 13 PM was the last bit of Apple Hardware that still used Lightning (excluding my Magic accessories). Did it so I too could strap in for the long haul.
I do miss the Stainless Steel of the previous models.

I've had my 14 Pro Max a little over a year. I decided to NOT upgrade for the first time in 5 years. Breaking the habit as it were. It's been an excellent phone. I don't tax the thing, just regular use so I have no worries about the battery lasting. The cameras are quite good and the only knock against it is the weight. These Max versions can be hell on shirt pockets but I need the size as my eyes aren't what they used to be and my large hands are not as dexterous as they once were. Age! LOL It'll likely be the 16 or 17 before I update, provided I don't switch back to Android. I saw that the 15 Pro series now have batteries that are supposed to go 1000 cycles before dropping to 80% instead of the 500 cycles on the 14's and lower. That is something I could use as for my use it would really extend the life of the phone.
Extend life of phone such a gimmick knowing everyone upgrades every1-2 years anyways 🤣
@@LordSnow-ll5kv Not everyone. I know many who keep their phones for 4-5 years and longer. The pal I sold my Note 9 to still uses it. I had to talk another friend into ditching his iPhone 6. It was all busted up and the battery life was crap. He got the 13 and is happy with it.

I have a 256gb iPhone, and 2tb storage. Both are full…. I have kids so my photos and videos are just insane…
I bet you can clear up some storage if you clean up the duplicates.
The 15 pros got thicker compared to the 14 pros hence the smaller camera bump but I think the 14 pm is the phone for me. I’ve had the 15 pro since release and I’m considering downgrading to the 14 pm
I’m still on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. My ONLY complaint is the battery life. I was upgrading every year until this one.
What’s your battery health? My 14PM has an incredible battery life
@@dnickolov 86% as of now. I thought about even paying the $99 to get the battery replaced by Apple. It’s not horrible, It’s just not as good as my 13PM was. When I turned my 13pm for this phone, it was exactly one year old and it was in the high 90s battery heath. I think 97%. So the 14pm battery is definitely degrading at a faster rate.

@@IrishVerified yes the battery on the 14 pm degrades faster but it’s still very strong and reliable in my opinion. I haven’t noticed much drop in the endurance of the phone. 13 PM is better than the 15 PM as well in the battery department

Don’t buy. Bad phone after one year with new iPhone update my cellular data turned off and phone stopped working showing SSO mode . Phone stopped working cellular in setting showing as error tried many time with Apple and they said it’s there issue but in order to replace part of phone they asked for again 800 dollars. Who is going to pay that much for a fix? Too much cheating going on with iPhone and there software updates have so many issues don’t buy iPhone nam it is not worth that much money for a single year use once your warranty is gone your phone will stop working

15pm sucks with battery and have battery issues so I back with my 14pm
Mate, I know 7 people that have the 14 pro. All of them tell that the battery life sucks. My battery health went down to 88% in August last year. I argued with apple for an express replacement.
Everyone's 14 pro is under 90% and they can't get through a day
You should stop upgrading phone every year a long time ago, upgrading every year is a waste of money.
