Hello - thanks for your comment :) - I always tend to think that food on a return leg of a flight is worse than the outbound leg so perhaps this explains the dry sandwich - I also wasn't meaning to be rude to the passengers in the wrong seats which is why when I realised they didn't speak English I pointed at the boarding pass - I certainly don't want to give that stereotypical dumb arrogant brit abroad impression!
