There is a surprising amount of things that Nero can parry with his arm and attacks (and gun). You were right there, you can parry that charge. I myself only found out after watching clips of other stylish players.

Nero was disliked because he’s too similar to Dante in this game. It’s like they were scared to give him too much of his own personality. It’s got nothing to do with him being “emo”
Just remember that all characters charged gun shots reset enemy ai. Meaning that if you really don't want to deal with certain annoying enemies ( *coughs* Chimeras *coughs* ) more than you have to, shoot them in the face on a regular basis, you can basically do it on a semi-consistent pattern and suffer next to no loss in style if you time it right. It will save you time and a migraine.

Im loving how unhinged your reactions can get. As for Nero being labled emo, i think that has more to do with the time the game released. In 2008 ( for the USA at least ) emo fashion and music was still in vogue and popular but was starting to get more ridiculed by the average person even teens were getting in on the hate train. So any pretty boy with a bad attitude would get accused of being emo even though Nero way more of a "punk" than anything else. And Sasuke was definitely emo in part 1 Naruto though more of an angsty varient on the trope and i say this as a huge Naruto fan ( a narutard you could say 😂 ) since the premire and who really likes Sasuke. Though maybe he comes across less emo in foreign dubs.
You guys should revisit dmc1 and dmc3 at some point. Dmc1 gets better as you keep playing and you don't really appreciate dmc3s story until your second playthrough
@misaamgremlins I meant separately on your own time, not on the channel, lol. I recently beat dmc1 on the hardest difficulty without using any items or saving. I also did a no items run of dmc3. I pretty much went from hating the games to locking myself in my room for hours trying to beat it. Those 2 are kind of like dark souls in the way that they hit the hardest when your alone and ready to get lost in it.

@@soybajo-kira8585 you can farm money, items and exp for moves but good luck trying to increase your damage and health bar through farming like you can on the other ones. You can only do that through bosses, and even then, if you want to farm damage through the mask it's only possible in the endgame and even then it would be way mode tedious than it's worth. In sekiro the way to make any meaningful progression is by engaging with the bosses and minibosses not by farming currency through the regular enemies
