@@EliNelson-hr5yp i have Quest 2 but due to the blurry and ugly antialising graphic on Myst, for me its unplayable. absolutely no immsersion at all, i think i can get better results playing 2d with 4k resolution on that game
@@ji3200 for quest 1 it looks good lags a little but for me it’s fine it might also be that the update is not quite adjusted right
@@EliNelson-hr5yp you should sell your quest for $300 or more and upgrade to quest 2 instead since its same price. how can you handle pixellated screen with blurry graphic? if you try Red Matter on quest 2, you will pee on your pants how amazingly sharp graphic quest 2 can produce. soon there will be native quest 2 resolution games gonna be available in the future and it might be quest 2 exclusive too. better hurry up and sell quest 1 before you might have hard time selling it
This looks amazing. The artstyle decision for this game is super strong. Big win here. This could be a system seller based on how much content there is.
the cell shading art style makes the game look 10 times better.
For me it spoils it. I want to be scared by dinosaurs that look real, not by a comic book

Comic artstyle is amazing.
You can't really experience it "IRL" so it uses the VR medium to give a experience that can't be had any other way.
A realistic approach often looks grungy and of bad quality IMO if you can't have expensive rendering and high resolution textures.
So i think VR games for quest needs to take a more toony artstyle to look nice cause of the limits of the hardware

I would have preferred a realistic one but the game does look very nice and was designed with the quest 1 and 2 in mind so had to do the cell shaded style but let's be honest horror in vr is gonna be scary no matter what due to the medium it is being presented in.
An art style I haven’t seen in many vr games, but I like it since it’s different and unique from other games. I’m excited!

After seeing the gameplay & hearing behind the scenes info about it, I'm now convinced of getting the Oculus in the future so I can play. A survival type game is what I've waited for so long as a JP fan. I'm glad to see the reviews are good and this game has succeeded where Trespasser attempt but failed. Bring on the raptors!!

A Nintendo Switch version, titled Jurassic World Aftermath Collection and containing both parts, is scheduled for release on November 10, 2022. The Switch version lacks virtual reality gameplay. Coatsink stated that the game was ported to a non-VR console "to allow people without access to VR, or who suffer from motion sickness from VR, to play too". A VR version of Jurassic World Aftermath Collection is also scheduled for the PlayStation VR2 in 2023.
FYI for those that keep commenting on length and price. Mashable reports that the price is $25 USD. Takes about 3 hours if you do well. DLC coming next year.

This looks great but I hope it isn't Oculus exclusive, or hopefully it's planned on being adapted to other systems down the line. The number of VR players is already a fraction of the total number of people who play games, and the number of those who own this specific VR product is a fraction of that.

Looks like a fun concept and setting, however I really do question the stylized graphics. HL: Alyx's stealth levels have proven it's possible to make AAA VR titles that don't need to skimp on gfx to make a high concept, long runtime experience.
You’re aware that this is an Oculus Quest exclusive, right? No gaming PC involved to do the heavy lifting.
Also. Stylized graphics more often than not require more horse power
