In the books it is stated that she felt the door would be heavy and so she pushed harder but they were not which is why she fell the way she did

I've seen these movies and start cringing before the lines begin.
This is not romcom this is freak show.

The actors combination is excellent. The chemistry is great.
Watching this movie as an asexual person was a weird experience. Like, why? I didn't understand what was happening. I think I was the only person in my group who wasn't uncomfortable watching it. I was just, in awe.
The biggest problem is they left out a LOT on context in the movies... They don't really deal with his mommy issues enough to explain why he's so possessive and the Alana actor really didn't do her justice. And they don't do into enough depth to what he does with his sub to explain why Leila gave him the gun and was so scared and dropped to the floor like she did. The movie version made no sense without it.

It's such an illustration of energies and vulnerabilities drawn from this scene. Looking at it from its litteral presentation of showing it from this scene, may demonstrate an inability to see the symbolism of this moment.
Of course it's fiction, but seeing it as a face value, may just be a triggering moment for audience who see it in that way that is B.S for them.
