- How to Exit Safe Mode in Windows 10 and 8 - Stuck In Safe Mode FIX
Command Used: bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot
You boot into Safe Mode to fix things. So it’s not right when Safe Mode ends up being the thing that needs fixing. If your Windows computer insists on booting into Safe Mode, you’ll have to figure out what’s causing the problem.
What made you go into Safe Mode in the first place? I assume you did it intentionally, but how? If you did it through the System Configuration tool, that’s your problem.
This post will help you if you find that your PC is stuck in the Safe Mode and you simply cannot exit Safe Mode in Windows 10/8/7. We often boot in Safe Mode if we need to diagnose or troubleshoot Windows problems since when you start Windows in Safe Mode, the operating system only loads those minimum set of Drivers, files, and applications that are required for it to load.
But what if you find that you are unable to get out of Safe Mode and every time you restart your computer, you are back in Safe Mode!? can be pretty stressful! So let us see how to get out of or exit Windows Safe Mode.
Safe Mode is a feature that has been built into all of the iterations of the Windows Operating System to have ever been created up till now. When a computer enters Safe Mode, all outside network access is terminated and all third-party applications and programs are rendered unusable, stripping the computer down to its core software only. Safe Mode is designed to be used to troubleshoot a variety of different problems and to determine whether or not a problem is being caused by the network(s) a computer is connected to or a third-party program that has been installed onto the computer.
Safe Mode is also available on Windows 10, the latest version of the Windows Operating System. One of the problems that a number of Windows 10 users are reportedly suffering from is their computers getting stuck in Safe Mode and booting into Safe Mode every single time they are restarted. According to reports, in such cases, users fail to boot their computers out of Safe Mode no matter what they do. A computer running on Windows 10 can get stuck in Safe Mode for a number of different reasons, primarily the user enabling the “Make all boot changes permanent” option when booting into Safe Mode from msconfig or a faulty Windows system upgrade from a previous version of the OS.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops,and tablets running the Windows 8/10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).

@@joon3638 I found restarting about 5 times checking my files integretity, msconfig the safe boot was unchecked, changed my screen resolution then all of a sudden it changed later
When I pressed continue it took me back to the screen we stated at in the video ???

Keep pressing f2 while your computer is restarting, read the options and continue through the menu that appers to boot to windows normally. This will fix your issue
you saved my life sir... i was testing something on company laptop n enabled to safeboot.. then i am not getting login screen since its directly gng to safe mode and cant do anything.. disabled the safe mode as u said frm cmd.. bingo.. tht worked..

I have a issue where when I choose normal start up in msconfig it'll automatically check safe mode in the boot tab and when I uncheck safe mode it'll go to selective startup. Is there anyway to make it so it does normal start up without safe mode?

Guys a new method is to go to where the cid started, press troubleshoot > start-up settings > restart then when you're in the menu for selecting, press esc

So I was using my computer trying to delete a stupid antivirus and the tutorial suggested me to go on safe mode... Why did I listen? 😭 Now I tried logging in with my password and it doesn't work. I reset the Microsoft password from my phone and at least recognized it on troubleshoot (system restore section). However even though I did a system restore successfully it sends me back to safety mode!!! I tried everything, can you pretty please help me?
Holy moly after I sent this comment (and trying my password for a million times) apparently the million time ONE worked! Logged in with the new password AFTER the restart. Thanks a lot though

This will only work if you have internet connection and have access to the Microsoft account or are the real owner (meaning you can reset the password).
1. Try changing your Microsoft password (email associated to the computer) from another device like your phone or another pc.
2. Go back to the damaged computer where you cant access and press shift and restart.
3. If you see the blue screen go to the same steps. Troubleshoot, then System Restore.
4. Introduce your e-mail and new password.
5. You have now access to restore your windows to a status before the last windows upgrade (mine was March, for example). That means you will not loose any data but you might not see system changes or apps you installed after that date.
Let me know if this helped.
@@Hadba_h I forgot to say once you're in, you are still on safe mode but its way easier to get out. You just need to click the options to get out and restart. (See RUclips tutorials, there's plenty)

Does this also re-enable all features/services? I accidentally turned on safe mode with minimal ticked, now I can't get back into my laptop because my PIN is disabled and I no longer have the password for the local admin account. Would this allow me to sign in with my PIN again? If not, could I use the windows media creation tool to get back in? If so, how do I do that without losing all my data?
