I think it was called Orchard Emerald previously. I remembered it used to have a shop selling football merchandise and my grandfather bought me my 1st jersey.
Hi Hong! Just a lil history on this midpoint orchard.. last time in the late 90s, we always go to the arcade center to play Daytona at basement 1.. there was already a food court there. Fun fact is that : you know the EATZ food stall? That sells laksa and fish all noodle. I believe midpoint orchard was one of their first stalls that they opened. This is way before they evolved into Fei Xiong group . In fact, that ceo cooked the noodle for me !! Coz I recognise that pair of deep set eyes !
Woah! Din know that this mall is still operating. Would have think that its gonna be another 'ghost mall'. Thank you for exploring the old malls. 👍 Wah the salon is truely impressive. If only the hospitals has this. My longest stay in hospital for 3 mths after my major op was a nightmare. Cant shower or wash hair. Nurses only wipe the body daily but my hair was dropping due to oiliness. Luckily manage to browse online and found a lady with mobile hairwash service. The set up was almost the same as the salon. I was unable to bend due to the N-S stitches from the stomach to the end of belly line for fear of wound burst. Really feel so shiok and refresh after the hairwash.
Thanks for recommending the boardgame shop..will definitely visit it in future when my children get older. Think most of the games would require higher order thinking skills.
It’ll be very difficult to rank. They all got different 特色. But this current one I must say is 麻雀虽小，pattern很多。 Fascinating place to explore with great indon food hehe
U should really try the izakaya morinaga, the food is amazing! We love the nanban chix, tamagoyaki and the must must must try is the pickled radish and marinated chicken liver.
My friend and I visited the Japanese place that jiejie and you initially wanted to go. The food is good and affordable, and high ball during lunch with any set ordered costs only $6+! Can try!
I also play magic during my childhood, and I actually still play it now lol. There’s actually quite a number of LGS (Local game store) like games@pi in Singapore and many of them are in old malls/shophouses due to their cheaper rental like in Hong Lim Complex, Kitchener complex, water loo centre etc.
Yes I seemed to spot one at Waterloo. Man I miss the game. But afraid to get back in for fear of the complexity. The last time I played was like Mirrodin.

It's a free for all multiplayer format that consists of 4 players, each with a 99 card deck and a "Commander" (any legendary creature). As it's a casual format, it's mostly played with friends or play groups. So if you really want to come back to play magic, I highly recommend this format. Involves a lot of politics and gaslighting too :)

Forgot to check the earliest age suitability. But yeah I think would require at least a little of pattern connection & correlation
Most simple games starting minimum age recommended will be Age 6 & above. For tactical/strategy games will be Age 10 & above. Hope this helps.
