The dangerous techs, should be activating some of the endgame crises you might want to look into propping up planetary defenses. adding a panetary shield and hypervelocity cannon on some of your more important worlds. lest the events take out your fleets.
You really need to reinforce your station at the Xalton system that was the original defence now that deathwatch is near that station is targets to the empire and the deathwatch I suggest building it up to a star fortress and building a mix of heavy stations and bulk work stations 😇
Shack, keep an eye on your northern front. Death Watch is building up there and your entire fleet is in the south. Need to up your fleet cap and get something up there.
You should use our new jump drives to move our fleets faster across the republic( like how near the end where we were trying to move to the north to fight the empire)
why dont you make a research agreement with your allies to boost their tech and maybe give away some disposable resources. this might help in the long run
At 2400 you will reach the official Endgame and crisis will be enabled, I strongly suggest that you start using the Jump-Drive, it will lead to........ interesting things (beside you already saw the crisis of "sapient AI" in season five , the ARMCO one)
Thoes bunk beds you bought are still available. There a Decision that you use on a planet or habitat, you would click on a world, select decisions and it's at the bottom of the list.
If you want to burn through energy credits could start terraforming/colonizing a ton more world's. Also getting governor's everywhere. You also can activate gateways and buy a bunch from the enclaves. Don't forget you can gamble at the tiny world north of the rebels. Another idea is gifting to your allies.
Shack you have to look more closeley at your planets some times you miss the crime some times you don't see how bad the adminitys are look pelase for our sanity LOOK!
Shack, you can't automate your planets because you're on an older version of Stellaris. In the new version, they revamped sectors and you can actually automate. Not sure if you can update though.
I am playing the newest version and the planets never take care of themselves. Even with the option turned on and a governor. 70% of game play time is playing balancer with planets and resources.
Great to see more STELLARIS. And as an idea for a new series (still STELLARIS) A NEW ARMCO PLAYTHROUGH. I've started watching your old ARMCO series and I'd love to see a new one. :)

Shack u should make a single ship class outfitted with the dangerous jump drive to see how risky it is and build a few ships of that one class instead of outfitting ur entire fleets with it.
I say finish of the Moncala and claim the choke in the "north" point the Empier took ad then switch to labration wars annd librate the rest of the Empier sound like the most Grad Republic way to do it to me.
I love the idea of having robots be the end game faction you have to fight. Its almost like Shack is trying to become Palpatine and start the clone wars, except that he won't be controlling them clankers
Looks like a clean slate is going to happen. The Galactic Republic will take this Galaxy, and we may return to Earth and the System Alliance... maybe have this entire campaign come full circle again
I hope shack builds a lot of anchorages, the buildings that makes them more effective, and starts to build loads more fleets. He's desperately going to need them. He may also need more alloys to fund all that!
The Xolton System now has new importance now that the Death Watch has grown exponentially. You had a whole war for the Strategic Station, Use it! I don't think this campaign is over just yet. Don't forget Planet defenses and Planetary Defense Forces/Stations.
For the auto-system, apparently you have to assign planetary governors or something along those lines. Perhaps pick a particular focus which isn't balanced. Regardless, it's a really buggy and poorly designed system, especially in the newer updates. For the overcrowding, just make sure to use edicts and structures to increase immigration pull on newer planets. You can also build them more beds (housing) under edicts.
You need to build a station at Bihjall. It is your northern border with The Death Watch. Also, for the Habitat, under the Decision button you can choose those special bunk beds you got earlier and it will give you a 10% bonus on housing. :)
@TheXPGamers Hey, I had the same problem with populations as well. I saw that your resettle button is not active. You need to go into policies (I believe) and change to allow people to settle on different planets. It is then a simple matter of clicking on planet and transfer the planet with excess population to a planet that need people like a new colony or any place that requires more people to get special buildings you want to build.
Slow the speed down. You're missing too many of the icons and it feels like you're getting slightly overwhelmed with everything. Just leave it on fast instead if fastest. Also, update those warships shack! Plus, I think the deathwatch wants to take over your northern territory, so bring the first fleet back from Avarrian space and put it up north. Sounds like a lot of backseat driving I know, just wanted to out out my opinion on what you should do. Seriously enjoy your content man!
You need to make sectors with populated planets and then give those sectors resources before they autobuild buildings, you can't have 'direct control' over them and have them autobuild. I think you can also make it so they pull a certain amount of resources each month from the main pool, but that might be a mod I use. Keep in mind that they will use their own 'sector' resources first, so if a sector doesn't have the minerals, they build buildings to get them first.
The Republic did have a SSD called the Mandator II it was introduced in the final year of the clone war's and didn't see much use in battle's but did defend planet's it has a design in empire at war but no official design.
Well in the lore the republic did have a super capital ship called the mandator class 1 an 2 which even tho it doesn't have much art depicting it is hopefully in the game.
It would be amazing if the Titan was the actual pride of the core ship, and also putting long range ion cannon platforms by the wormholes would be a great defensive structure for weakening the enemy fleet before getting in weapon range the the other station guns.

Stellaris AI has been struggling to keep up since the economy update. Plus it doesn't help that Shack removed Fallen Empires, which partially exist to stop a player from snowballing.
Reminder that he struggled heavily early game because of him tanking his research into the ground, still has trouble managing his planets, that the end-game crisis hasn't happend yet and last time he bumped the diffculty to Commodore, the game ended only in the first century. I'm okay with him being on Ensign
@@legendairenic6247 At the rate Shack is going, he might be able to end the game before the end game crisis lands. Still though I'd rather have a full campaign over a early game wipe. There is a lot to learn after the economy update so Its also okay if Shack is running lower difficulties. It's just a shame that at this late into the game that the AI can't even hope to catch up.

Shack: If you start the war with the Mon Cals and win it fast the Mon Cal faction will be gone as will the war and with that goes any treaty with the Empire, the Empire most likely won't have any time to move a fleet to attack you.
To make a change to a planet you go to the planetary decisions and then click on make a resort world this works for making planets thrall worlds penal colonies and city planets
Take out the Mon Cal for sure, maybe even save them with the De- Liberation Star. Then I’d actually think about waiting to let the Empire build up, for a nice show, and focusing more on preparing for the end-game crisis. I don’t remember if you got jump drives but those will cause the Unbidden and that’s very bad. You did get sentient AI, that will cause the Contingency and is also very bad. So as Thrawn would have it, prepare for a Galactic-wide defense!

As it stands our main goal should be the liberation of the ring world. To long they have imprisoned sentient life, and I say no more. Honestly as long as your not in the middle of a hard war playing at a faster speed is perfectly ok.
Also make your capital into a ecumenopolis.

Another idea is gifting to your allies.
Shack your battleships can Use the conqueror beam. It can only be sloted on the front of the ship not the middle or the back.

Shack! You can see the Population on the planet by just looking at the number under the Stability!
Superlasers and sapient combat AI, I can see no ways in which this could possibly go wrong.

You can use unity for lots of things besides civics they are used for galactic ambitions which are amazing
Just started my own campaign and Sanctuary is blocking me from expanding south.
Shack you should upgrade your command fleet limit so you can get bigger fleets.

The difficulty level of this campaign was just too low on this one.

You could turn Grand Republic into coruscant with the citywide planet ascendance perk. Would help with overcrowding

when the 3rd and 1st fleet attack the 12k fleet it looked liked yularen against the malevolence
If he vassalizes the empire does he get their ship designs? Because that would be awesome if he could get the Raider class corvette. Love that ship.
