MOC vs. Heelan - Class 3A Substate Final ending.

In a rematch of the 2005 Class 3A Substate Final, the MOC Floyd Valley Dutchmen faced off against the Bishop Heelan Crusaders at Le Mars High School on February 26, 2024. The Dutchmen roared to a 41-24 halftime lead, but had to withstand a furious Heelan rally in the second half to ultimately win 67-57. This also marks the first time since 2005 that both the Unity Christian Knights and MOC Floyd Valley Dutchmen boys basketball team are both at State together. In 2005, Unity was the Class 2A State Champion while MOC was the Class 3A State Champion.
