- Here is how we rig a tag line so we can pull high speed Wahoo lures with an inline trolling weight from our outriggers. The advantage to this is that it keeps your lines spread our so they are less likely to tangle with your other lures while making turns.
Tuf Line Waxed Thread - 1/4 lb. Spool - 70 lb: amzn.to/2KTBGz9
#32 Rubber Bands((for tag lines and cleated off planers): amzn.to/2XE4DCu

Great explanation! 👏🏻👏🏻
Great video Jeremy! Very helpful.
Thanks Joe!
@@ReelHazardous When you make the loop with wax rigging floss to attach the rubber band to, do you do 1/2 hitches, then leave a gap, then do 1/2 hitches on the other side of that gap and the gap is the loop?
Yeah that's typically how I do it.
Nice tutorial. Keep grinding. Capt. Ryan
Thanks great video
thx Jeremy that was excellent
Luis Rodda Thanks!
What do you set the drag pressure at while it’s at speed? I imagine that’s a violent strike and a lot of pressure put on the rod holders and everything.
GREAT video! I have seen some folks use a glass ring and others not. I see you do not. Is there any advantages to using the glass ring?
I have glass rings in my outriggers but I haven’t tried it on tag lines. I thought the weight of the metal would be better on glass. They work ok but I wonder if the glass would slide better sometimes.
@@ReelHazardous thanks for the reply.
Sweeeeet... vids made in KCB!
nice setup
You'll be seeing a lot of KCB in future videos!
What measurement do you use to find the overall length of the tag line?
I just attached it to the outrigger first and then pulled it to the front, found the tension I liked, and cut it and crimped my clip at that spot.
Nice but some of us have cabin boats not everyone likes open center console boats
