Mazda Malaysia better launch the latest update like taiwan with new grille design and 10.25inch screen to boost the sales before the rationalisation of petrol subsidy and new generation of cx-5 being announced
Screen is already 10.25-inch, and sales traffic for the CX-5 suggests there's no need to update this model anytime soon. We would get into the matter of amortisation & scale but it's Friday night and we have better things to do.
Hi bro, how would you rate this car against Subaru Forester 2.0? Both have similar outputs but Subaru (with rebates) is about RM25K cheaper. To me, when I compared both, the Subaru Forester seems like a no brainer given the huge price difference. Subaru Forester i-L goes for RM142K with 6 years free service while the CX-5 2.0 High is going for RM168K with 5 yrs free service
You nailed it with the 2.5 NA preference. Fuel consumption never bothered me, while I got to enjoy buttery smooth acceleration though sans turbo. Just got some heartache when I pay the annual roadtax.
You lose a lot of credibility by recommending the 2.2D even though Mazda salesman will tell you to stay away. The engine since previous model is almost guaranteed to leak coolant. Reliability wise is zero.
2:48 - whilst listening I laughed out loud and felt pity for those who did buy a lower variant and was trying to impress others. Exactly the words 'they' don't want others to know. Great script!
Good insight as usual. Request for a review of the 2024 forester gt update. Since it is on a massive rebate now, it kind of playing around the ballpark with then cx5
When vehicles go through rear-end collisions and do not get repaired properly as the CX-5 customer admitted when queried by BERMAZ, that tends to happen.
This really is a subang housewife's favourite car. You see it everywhere in Subang
lol....
Is it the same head unit interface display weve seen for the pass 10 years? Nice review btw

idk why malaysian’s cars always got the small infotainment screen treat unlike the overseas market, just look at this cx5, corrolla cross, hrv etc.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the 2024 CX-30 High, compared to the likes of this CX-5.

The specs list wireless apple carplay. Is this not true or was it a mistake in the video?
Carplay yes, Android Auto is still wired.
Recently there is one cx5 axle broken like the omoda

Madzda CX50 is famous for bad rear leg room. Using 170cm sample is a little bit bias.
Sorry, next time we'll stretch Aiman's height to your preference. Mind, he represents the national average.
