Nice vid. Interesting to hear u talking about sizing down. Was thinking the same as the stability is inherent with the weight. Currently looking at the same bike as its on sale for 3.5k
Yeah I am really happy that I sized down. My previous one of these was a Large, and whilst it was good, I am enjoying the shorter, medium a bit more on my local trails. Still on sale! Mad value for money.... tidd.ly/41jo5UY
Just bought the Vitus escarpe 290 VR as my first proper full suspension E mountain bike for £1800 off wiggle 👍 noticed a kickstand on your frame , are there mounting brackets on these bikes ?
thanks for the review, I'm riding the analog sommet frame this year and really curious about this e-bike version. Does the battery cover still require an allen key to remove a few bolts? I really wish that was a quicker process..
Yes it does need an allen key to remove the cover. I guess it depends on where you charge it. I never take the battery out as I charge the bike with the battery in place.
@@alexferguson3130 no idea as I have never ridden the Cube. I will say that this is on sale right now with 30% off, so it is crazy value for the performance! I love my E-Sommet and this is my third one. Check it out here tidd.ly/41jo5UY
ive been on a medium for a year and it handles like a dream. 5.8' 150 lbs. what bottle/cage combo do you have here? i haven't been able to fit anything on mine. thxs
Yes, but apparently Shimano supplied the wrong unit to a whole batch of these so I couldn't. Vitus should be sending a replacement unit soon I understand. You having the same issue?
I bought mine for only 2,5 k€. Grazy happy with it🤙
Stoked!!

No kickstand mate - just a stick holding the bike up for the photo! Enjoy the bike. Ben

Like this spec, tough to get Vitus in the states.
I know that is changing, although I don't know when E-Bikes will be available in the US.
A cracking build for the price!
You know it.
Would you recommend this bike over the 2023 cube stereo race 160? 🤔

Considering this bike or a Luna cycle Z1. What is the top speed with pedal assist?
Thanks
Standard 25km/h in the UK and Europe.

Have you tried linking it to your phone yet over Bluetooth?

Does it not void you warranty if you hook it up to the e tube app
@@richardwhite206 No, it's the Shimano app.
