I never knew these effects are this much useful and have such great controls. But thank you for sharing these and I will look into ways to use these now.

I think I should elaborate a bit more. I have no problem using a mask on the effect. What I wanted to do is warp the effect a little bit with the puppet pin so it makes a curve, but using an adjustment layer just cuts the background image. I'm currently trying out with the matte but yeah, I'm having trouble with that, I'm not that advanced with after effects.

Absolutely. You could use a layer mask or track matte to contain it.

Unfortunately, no. You'd want to use CC Particle World for that.
