- Took an overnight surf fishing and camping trip to make a good surf fishing video. We got there late, an hour after arriving we were on! I caught one and homeboy caught 1, after that it was slow!
" Cheesecloth " ...... it will take care of your bait in a way like you've never had & if you try it, you may never wrap single thread
around a crab again. You can also make little Shrimp/crab balls w/ cheesecloth holding them intact, it might surprise you
just how well the stuff works. If you ever try it, let us know man. It works really good. peace
Meat netting is better.
I know there are many different "Grades" of cloth mesh for food processing. I'd say buy the one that you
find on sale, that's the smartest & I've seen guys using dental floss as well but it doesn't work nearly as
good as a cloth meshing but you are right, Mesh to hold meat products are tougher but I say buy what
you can get on-sale whenever possible. But in the old days they used dental floss which works but not
nearly as well or easy to wrap bait. I learned it after losing shrimp as fast as I could bait a hook & cast.
Before my bait hit bottom they were stripping me & then I learned about making a ball of shrimp around
the hook using mesh like you mention. It saves money for bait, keeps little ones from stealing the bait
& all those kinda problems when fishing. Beach Bomber is a pro at all of this, the videos prove it!

Limb Lines off overhanging tree limbs. Pantyhose can be expensive unless you have family who gives
you the bad pairs. I actually do not know what any of this stuff costs now but whichever way you go it
will save you money for bait by saving your bait & help you to catch more fish. Almost anything is
better than keeping crab, livers, or shrimp on the hook.....it all falls off. Happy Fishing guys

Fished the surf at Galveston the same time as this video , used cut mullet as bait caught from a cast net . Caught abonch of massive harheads and some gaftops . Got sharked ounce on of my rods that has a mono leader for red drum . I caught a 50 inch red drum on cut mullet on my 13 ft surf rod that has My shark leader on it that was designed to catch a 7 ft shark . Bull drum and catfish just aren't leader shy fish . The hooks I used weren't small . I bet beach bomber fishing has caught hudge saltwater catfish ounce while targeting bull reds and sharks
