- Took several fishing trips to try to catch something of size. Went to the jetty the first trip and man was I surprised!! I have never seen that many tarpon in the upper texas coast!! Im sure all the ' i dont watch youtubers' will be on their way to try to catch them after this video lol. I stayed long enough, went home and came back that night. The next day I went to Galveston Fishing pier, finally it paid off.

Why this guy would have this kind of reel , conventional reels , it's because of preference. Not everyone wants to use spinning reels

Niiiice! Hooked up to a big black drum I sight tossed a mullet on a handline. Had it on about 6 head shakes then it was off. Hook was way too small. Was in Corpus for the weekend.
