For anyone new to backyard astronomy, I highly recommend Chet Raymo's 365 Starry Nights. It's a beautifully (almost poetically) written and hand illustrated guide to the constellations and interesting objects within them, starting on Jan1 and progressing as the sky changes through the entire year. It assumes you have a small telescope or binoculars, and teaches you how to identify the constellations by the asterism they make in the sky, and where they sit in relation to other asterisms. Great book.

Hi Graham, I liked the little red torch and the solar can.
PS:- How did you get on with your Morpheus eyepiece?

Thanks, I wanted to try a different sort of video for a change. I really like the Morpheus and plan to buy another before long. I’ve used it most with my Evolution 8, and really like the field of view and comfortable eye position. Not cheap but good.
