My two pups torvi and barbi out today didn’t get much video footage as camera died but ending the day with twelve rabbits and some digging with a few flies with a goshawk
From Arkansas USA, great video, great looking dogs. Here we use hounds to hunt Racoons, Coyotes and we use a mix of hounds and pitt/mastiffs to hunt hogs.
Do you think a teckel would make a passable ferreting dog with nets and flush them to ground? I see they like digging at the holes which is not ideal as I like a nice quiet mark. I suspect your from wales me too :)

I have a 12 month old teckel dog working but unproven yet obviously as he’s only 1! He’s from very good stuff imported from Slovakia. Would he interest you for the bitch? I’m in South Wales used. So you hunt with Dachshund and ferret on rabbit? I only knew the Use of ferrets. How does it go with the dachshund? Can they replace the ferret?
I dont know how comparable they are to ferrets but dachunds are good at tracking and digging in burrows and can hold off their own
