- The total student loan debt currently carried in the United States of America is $1.59 Trillion dollars. This is an absurd number to me and the reason we all continue to contribute to the growth of this debt is because it is the social norm and we are praised and congratulated for do it.

I am doing something about it. I’ve been learning and trading on a demo account for four months now. I’m still not profitable but I will get there.
You would still need a college degree if your dream is to become an engineer or a doctor. But if you are certain of what you want to do in the future and it doesn't require a degree, don't go to college. Great video
You can actually learn engineering by urself and start a business, doctors and lawyers or anything that requires a license is more of a different case. :)
Hi Arty, I've spent nearly all my life in the education system. Because of pressure to get an education and get a 'good' ' respectable job' so I know the feeling of what it's like. It's a form or madness. Just breaking out of it in the last few months, realising now what I was totally lost. So much more to LIFE. Thank you for your clarity of Words, Real Talk. I went to a trade school and am making way more money doing something I love, with no debt, than all my friends who went to a regular college and are now back working at their high school jobs...and they look down on me lol.
I 100% agree with you on this I am in college right now without having a taste of what to use the degree I am studying to do but I can’t stop because of the peer pressure from everywhere my family friends people around ☹️but deep down I know I don’t need it
Unless you want to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher or engineer college is a complete waste of time and money. Period
I totally agree. Got my BBA in finance. I’ve learned immensely more from trading over 3 years than my professors ever taught me.
I spent 17 months after college trying to even get my first entry level job. Ended up not even needing my degree for it, so I quit. The job market and higher “education” is a train wreck.

I am a college student and when I see the multitude of students and think about the many other schools produce I ask myself do I want to be part of the crowd racing for the jobs or I want to provide one for many who would be willing to work with and for me. Although am going through a personal development phase I have come to realize their isn't a perfect time for anything just act in faith then we figure everything out.

Makes sense! Wise words. But one thing we have to consider though. Trading does not produce anything of value. It's like playing a video game where you take money away from someone else in a bet, or vice versa, you lose money to someone else. In the end, nothing new was created. You should always make that clear to yourself. Trading is a video game!!!

I agree with most of what you said - I am a high school teacher who loves her job and sees positive changes in the system yearly, there is still a need for more as with many systems. Here cause I like to learn new skills and love education on many levels.

The sports is another topic as it swung to far one way in regards to competition - my partner played semipro hockey and has ridiculous stories and is coaching are young sons sports teams very differently than he was taught/coached back in the day.

Advisors are just sales people pushing your dreams. It is almost like a high for the person that has good intentions to make a good life. When they tell you that they will help you with finding work they are full of it. I have asked both colleges for help and they have never followed through. Now I have three expensive pieces of paper. My story goes on and on. So kids do your research like you research stock.

It was a long time ago at school when I asked difficult questions, I always got the same answer "if you were smart, you wouldn't ask stupid questions"

understand about the video game addiction. I play Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War every day. I used to play eight hours a day, but now I’ve cut back to 1-2hrs a day. It’s easy to get caught up in a video game to forget about your problems in the real world. I’ve went to college for a couple months only because I felt it was the normal societal thing to do and felt if I didn’t go then I would be judged. College isn’t for most people and if you want to be a doctor, lawyer, etc, then you’d better be passionate about that profession or you will waste not only your time (which you’ll never get back), but also possibly put yourself into student loan debt.
