The drum machine intro was funny as it was going far too fast,then they tried to slow it down,there were no presents in those times or midi so overall the band were amazingly talented and organised.
Actually, this is the USA mix, it was re-mastered recently on CD, it's the same starting super-fast and then slows... so this live version was intentional too and then Gary changed his mind.
This was the track he should have released instead of This Wreckage. Telekon was his swansong. After which us fans had to endure some pretty dross stuff. Admit it. You really play everything up too Telekon and then from Pure don't you? Come on, its okay. Splinter is close though. But all that eco/global warning stuff on Savage is a bit well... dull. The sound is good but the theme is not. Cyber/dark Numan is the way too go Gary. Now you have brought that flash new car hopefully you will kick those grey desert boots out and give us the proper follow up too Splinter.
