I can honestly say that the "Athlete wife" stigma really played a part in me judging these women before watching this. I can honestly say that does not apply here. These ladies are absolutely impressive and bad ass, each and every single one. Their stories are all powerful and eye opening. This series is gonna be a good one. As a veteran myself I understand how I sharelle feels, I went from a E-1 to E-4 (P) in a year and a sergeant 3 months after that I wanted to get promoted quickly and I was also medically discharged because I injured my back in the Army. I commend all these beautiful women and I love the podcast, I will definitely be watching and learning

I'm luving this new series I Am Woman ! Such a beautifully intelligent group of black women. Channing's wife "Mr Nest Egg" she's a standout of the group. Ocho's fiancee's military story is very similar to my big sister's, not telling my mom about joining the army.
