Great Video as always! You really are clear, concise, and informative. I have started selling the same brands over and over and it does get a bit boring but like you said, it's as predictable as it can be and I will take that over having stuff sitting in my closet and not selling.

I am so happy I found your videos! Information I needed to have and delivered so clearly. My closets just really been away to clean out our family closets since 2016 but I’m thinking about making it more of a professional closet. I will be watching all your videos and utilizing all of your tips.
I think I have a little bit of a different situation though because I’m in Hawaii and the whole time zone thing is difficult. Also, in Hawaii, our thrift stores are literally Zara stores! It could be because we don’t have quite as many different stores here. I’m not sure but the Goodwill Salvation Army and thrift stores are just overflowing.

Banana Republic sells well for me in petite sizing. Other sizes are kind of hit or miss for me.

Yeah I never do Zara usually unless it’s really current. I feel sellers should key in to their specialties.
What does BOLO mean?! Boden does well for me. Not any of the others really. J crew for cashmere or special items, Ralph Lauren does well too. Eileen fisher is so hit or miss. I only do larger sizes.
BOLO means Be On The Lookout - so a brand you want to find. Thanks for sharing!

No I would not say I have repeat clients, and that's ok with me.
You mention that you still deal with thred up in some capacity. Can you explain what you do? I just can't bare to send them something since they charge $6 each to reclaim items. I really miss thred up tho.
It’s only really liquidation… I do not reclaim any items, so I just send them things that I am finished with instead of re-donating or things that I get for free and just get what I get for it💕

I try the buy-sell consignments FIRST before Thredup. Thredup is the very very last or I will donate. I always never make money with Thredup. It's a give away unless it's luxury.

I don’t understand the benefit of boutique.
Its the best in my opinion because you can order 10 of 1 item, that the photos and list it once and then sell it 10 times without doing any extra work...its a great way to scale and make extra money without extra work. I usually do about $500-1000 per month and sometimes more just from boutique items. Its a great addition.
