IMO Lighter is good for built up accounts but bad for newbie accounts. Those buffs are monstrously powerful if you have the agents to make use of them. Sadly Im still relatively new to the game. I have no agents to partner up with Lighter. Sad
Yeah, s11 and Ellen are the two agents you should get Lighter for. Unless you simply love lighter and want him anyways for fun, you’re likely better off skipping or getting Yanagi before she’s gone if you don’t have her yet.
You can make anyone be Main attacker in this Game and while not optimal, still get good results. I thought the same about Ceasar, and didnt want to be Stunner/buffer, turned her into DPS Ceasar, she is quite strong like this and only falls behind a couple seconds in clearing times compared to my top tier teams in shiyu, and in tower she is straight up better than a lot of attack units cause finishing fast aint a priority there survival is. Anyways, you can see videos of DPS Ben, DPS Anby, DPS soukaku etc etc, so by all means turn Lighter into the DPS, he has the big advantage that not all chars have, that all his hits are elemental hits, even if they arent big multipliers, cause he gets huge mileage from some buffs. Imma play DPS Lighter too for fun since I don't even have an attack ice or fire units to buff with him.
I kinda wish his core passive can be activated by Fire/Ice units instead of attacker, so he can support non-attacker fire/ice teams(like dual anomaly or anomaly-support based teams) in the future without relying to his faction.
Zzz's meta is hsr mixed with genshin, newer characters can powercreep older ones, but older characters can become meta with newer ones. Soldier 11 got burnice and lighter, and I'm all for it
What's the point of the extra 2 shockstar? It's not like you get any added benefit? There's no 6-piece set bonus so why not pick another set that has a good 2pc bonus?

The only reason that im pulling lighter is that i removed chingyi from my ellen team amd gave her to yanagi burnice team and now my ellen team needs a stunner (i don't have von and lighter is just better). I know the qingyi burnice yanagi team isn't that good, since qinyi can't even activate her passive thingy, but it just feels too good to play

u can but it does nothing. 2 piece bonuses dont stack. lighter's base impact is 137 and it says on his stat screen his impact is 194. 137 plus the 6% from the 2 piece, the 18% from the disc 6 and the 18% from the w engine is about 194.5. if those extra 2 pieces had their additional 6% bonus it would actually be something like 203. so ur just losing out on potential extra damage or energy regen if u do a 6 piece of a set. he's probably using it because its what he has, lighter's crit ratio also isnt particularly minmaxed considering its about 30% to 90% and its probably for the same reason. just had shockstar pieces bc its what he farmed to show off how much he increases S11 and Ellen's effectiveness, its not an actual full build
so my theory is true, aside from Lucy, all SoC agents need Caesar due to their lack of during their signature move Still skipping him because his ice dmg bonus is not comparable to Lycaon Ice Res debuff. Polar Metal just like all elemental disc for dps, revolve around shattering to increase dmg, and lycaon's debuff is just going to help triggering shattered more often. and him coming before miyabi of all people doesn't help either, if it was someone like Harumasa that I can consider skip, I would have more considerations pulling lighter

Miyabi don't works with lighter, her core passive is support or faction.
