Paladins - Vora 100% health ult opening combo

In this short video I will show you how to use Vora's ultimate as an engage ability, not only as an execute ability.
To perform this combo you need to have 4 or 5 darkness stacks activated. Then, you ult (preferably after vine, but that's not neccessary) and after hitting a target, you perform a single basic attack and use aoe ability that is amplified with 5 darkness stacks for extra damage.
Properly executed, this combo will almost always secure you win in 1v1 situations.

This works however only thing I know from experience is that it mostly doesn’t work. Reason is that healing is a major thing that cockblocks the kill so I tend to use dark syphon afterwards. Plus it keeps you alive more because of self sustain

not to mention resi lowers the stun time and they could easily beam you while you're still stuck in the slash animation

Actually, it does not. However if you hold left click when casting ultimate on someone, you will fire a single projectile at him, which you can animation cancel with empowered slam.

Gives you more healing and cripples enemy on your Q ability (Dark Siphon), more damage and slows your enemies on your right click ability (Obliteration).

Most of the time I play with double tendril talent and sustain cards. It's not the only viable build out there but I like it since it's both quite powerful and very forgiving. Extra heal and mobility let you get away from some tough situations.
Sustain cards are: Broken path 4, Sharpened resolve 5, Broken Promises 4.
However I advise you to play around with builds to find what suits you the best. Especially Broken Promises might be switched for something with more utility for example.
