Had this happen on my boat, little water leak at raw water pump pulley got belt wet causing squeak/belt slip. Good idea outing camera in to verify leak source. Thanks for sharing
No, this is not showing how to fix. This video is to assist those that say they have a lack of power and a bit of water in their This is showing the problem. The fix is to replace the through hull assembly and stop the water from squirting on your belt. That's a motor out job, best done by your qualified marine mechanic.
you'll need to replace the oem part yes. the kspeed support will prolong the new ones life, as it doesn't allow it to flex as much and supports the torque of the 310hp engines better.
When I redid my 300x I installed a new OEM carrier with bearing and I stalled your support. With your support installed it kinda makes it feel like I installed solid engine mount in a car. I would assume this is normal bc it’s supposed to remove the movement of the carrier from flex so it last longer, correct?
Hi Jason, Our video description describes this. "We water test a ski with a slipping belt and lack of power. We felt the through hull holder first and could feel a slight blister around the bolt hole. We felt this ski was the perfect ski to setup our camera system and demonstrate visually what happens when your through hull leaks. This is a 2015 ski with 175hrs. As you ride the ski the bilge is siphoning this water out just as fast as it's coming in, so it leaves minimum trace in the hull. But here it is in all it's glory."

Great video, thanks for sharing Brisbane!
Glad you enjoyed it, easy to look for when you've seen where to look.

that is 100% what my ski is doing right now. 2017 310, so the only fix is change the carrier bearing and add the support?

@@racerx2084 Thats normal as it minimises the ability of the rubber to flex, which prolongs it's life.
Describe what's occurring..
Looks like the through hull support for the driveshaft is leaking
