Oh the joys of Tenders. I once had to queue at 6AM to get hold of family tickets for a Tender at 8AM. I fondly remember Kotor where taxi men were harassing us along the harbor walk.
😂😂 that was an early start for you . It could only happen to us 😂 thinking we were queuing for breakfast. What a sail in as we arrived in Kotor , one of our best I think . We didn’t have taxi drivers pestering us only a few people trying to sell us some excursions.👋

Although we made a right pigs ear of breakfast and getting the tender boat , it was worth it in the end . You certainly get the chance of some different views on a tender. Morning folks ,,, bellies before brain, lol , we went to Kotor last year with Marella but the ship docked so didn’t have the upheaval of the tender. True it is a beautiful place if memory serves me right we went on a glass bottom submarine,, which was a boat , once again you gave us a chuckle , I’m off to work now , look after the pink salmon, spawning season is upon us , have a great week. Nice place..Hope you had a "Tender" breakfast. We did similar once, lined up for an hour for tender tickets...I had number one, felt smug until they called out 1-50 can go now...🤨.. We are all fine thank you , it’s getting a bit hotter now ,in the high twenties . We know it’s nothing like the temperatures that you have to deal with. We enjoyed the QM2 very much , it was only for three nights but it made for a great experience. Yes it’s Pearls highlight of any cruise, getting dressed for dinner. Hope you and your family are all well, and that you are not suffering too much from the heat . I’m afraid we complain when it’s too hot and the when it’s cool and cloudy. We once witnessed an accident when using a Tender it happened when P&O's Aurora berthed just off Newport Rhode Island. The Tender was little more than half full. We had no problems boarding.As we took our seats a bit of a swell came up. The Officer in charge had problems pulling away from the pontoon. We hit by a fairly sizeable wave. The tender lurched over hitting the side of Aurora and smashing one of the Plexiglass Windows Fortunately no one was hurt but one passenger was really shaken up, We reached the shore OK and the incident was reported. We later learned. that P&O offered the family of the passenger directly involved a Free Cruise as compensation.
Hi John , wow that sounds quite scary actually , I can't say we have ever had anything as dramatic as that . I think the most we have had is timing it correctly to step off the tender as it bobs up and down . You do get some great footage from the tender boat .
