A terrific video - thank you! I am 82 and faced with the possibility of having the TURP or similar procedure for BPH, due to incidents of fluid retention. The last hospitalization revealed my Prostate measured 6.3 x 5.4 x 8.4 cm, I have no idea what this translates to in grams, and whether this is a small, large or larger Prostate. It seems that various surgery options depend on the size of the Prostate. I will continue to watch your videos and hope to get a clue to the size of my Prostate.

I hear a lot of these interviews about turps ,and i don t hear anything about the leakage problems.whats up with that.???😢

When you interview people about turp , you need to ask about side affects and leakage. It s been 7 weeks since I got the turp and I still have the problem of leakage. I like your interview s and helping people but everyone should know the whole story. Thank you, Mike H . Grand junction Co

There's plenty of leaks. Wear absorbent underwear after the procedure until it gets back to normal.

I had TURP surgery at University of Virginia Medical Center 4 days ago. I could not void the next day and was sent home with a catheter. I will go back 7 days from now for outpatient voiding trial. Are the chances of me being able to void good?

I recemtly had a TURP and after the temporary catheter was removed i still have no control over urination. I continue to urinate 20-30 times a day. The operation was useless. I cant recommend TURP to anyone
