Happen to see that Netflix series about that show? Muscles & Mayhem. I didn't get to finish it, but it was fantastic up to the point that I got to watch, great story telling.
You brought up some great points Jonathan! I think there’s a sweet spot where the plates are thin enough to fit a lot of them on but not so thin that it increases plate slop or it gets painful or dangerous to use. I personally prefer plates that are the thickness of traditional calibrated kilo plates with the occasional deep dish plate thrown in for grip specific training.
Yeah everyone's goldilocks zone is different. Plus not everyone is as strong as you my friend

@@NoFate247 We finished the last day of the hard mesocycle (deload week is here!) this morning at the commercial gym. Next cycle it’s all home gym equipment! So excited to start that. The wife is doing family stuff with her siblings, and I’m just doing meal prep, chores, and maybe a minute or two of PS5.

The grip option ones are super sweet. I am running out of room on my deadlift bar with bumpers, I am torn between these and the WIO. Both have such odd names... decisions decisions. Enjoy watching the Pats and Sox this weekend...oh wait 😁

Thrust definitely clean looking. How do they stand up to abuse? Scratches etc. Would they survive in a strongman gym?
They seemed durable to me but like any plate smashing then against steel or concrete will definitely cause wear and tear. Biggest issue was the smudging cause they are so clean and smooth. Imagine in a gym that uses Chalk you would notice build up right away

I missed the part about corrosion. Would this be a good option for outdoor gyms? I hear chrome and think old Chevy bumpers.
Not hundred percent sure. Normal gym I bet these are good to go but left outside that I can't honestly speak to

Try to keep as many as I can fit on my plate storage. My space just isn't infinite though

How do they compare to weightitout?
Pretty different because of the coating. If you like the chrome look go with these but if you prefer the color of the coated then go weight it out (imo)
