OMG....you guys really are living the dream.....working on Camaros and Vettes, great place to work ....great boss....does it get any better.....WOOH
I can never get enough of these videos! I’m hooked!
As a Sub and an Enthusiast we would appreciate if you guys specify if the cars are Manual or Auto before Dyno tuning! Kinda should be protocol. Stick cars waste less power through the drivetrain components so thats a key factor the consumer should know. Triggers my anxiety lol. 🤔👍
We need a "there's something wrong with the wideband" T-shirt
I watch a vid with a dude measuring temp on stock intake vs Roto F cold air on the track. Was on a Camaro if I remember correctly. Stock was running like 10 degrees cooler.
Awesome music, I would love to hear more of it!! How is it that the best motors and music come from the same source!! Pete is the best!! I wish I could afford to have him build me a motor!!! Great stuff and keep up the great work
Guys I tell everyone here in Florida about you guys, hope it helps.
Yes especially on a PD blower car!!
Like your videos, but you didn’t answer the question to the title of your video. Come on. Let’s see some dyno numbers with a stock air intake, and then an aftermarket air intake with no changes to anything else.
They have been doing this for years and they know what works and what doesn't.
Again, they didn’t answer their own question. The title didn’t say “we use cold air intakes because we know what we are doing”.
🤣🤣😂😂 Yea you right @@whiplashtv2022
@@whiplashtv2022to answer your question yes intakes matter, the colder air is denser and allows for better potential boost pressure/pressure overall. Although most temp regulation comes from forced induction not an aftermarket “cold air intake”
@@avionmerced8946 I already know that they work and matter. I have done Draggy 1/4 mile testing and showed this on my channel. I watched this video and wanted to see their data and proof and it was a huge let down that there was nothing on the difference that a cold air intake makes.
Man I’d love a C7 in that color. Beautiful
Based off all the cars you've tuned what are the major differences between competitions tunes and yours
I loved the JC Whitney Catalogs!
Thats pretty good gains just from swapping intakes..
And better tune if it was tuned at all
He changed to tune so don’t fall for this. Misleading.
did this get upgraded lifters/pushrods and che trunnions? Im curious why you guys keep basically the stock rev limiter?
Nice numbers.
Sick vid
New spark plugs make a difference as well.
Wish u guys did mopar lol I'd bring my trx
What’s the recommended mileage to check spark plugs my 2017 C7 has 60,000 probably time huh?
Deff time haha.
🔥RPM🔥
👍👍👍👍👍
Intake alone usually hurts a car because the AFR is off. If you aren’t going to tune, don’t mod.
Still didn’t answer the question.
I'd say a 30 HP gain is the answer to the question.
@@tbone2104 That was with a tune and a different intake. To truly get a number, you need to run without an intake at all and with an intake without a tune to compare. We don’t know if the intake or the tune made the difference and/or quantities of each. Also don’t know if the plugs made a difference.
Nice thing about a K&N is that you can get the same effect for free by pouring a cup of sand in your engine. Really loosens up those pesky, power-sapping bearing tolerances.
That would be an Air Raid CAI system @@tbone2104
@@rus19297that’s not how you compare. You compare by running it with and without but tuning the car with both.
Misleading by Far. Why do that to us. We aren’t stupid little children. Why not run the car comparing the two cold intakes only. Why throw your tune on it. Omg.
Love your videos. Rushing an engine build is never a hood thing, even if 100's of builds have been done. It only takes one stripped/broken bolt to ruin a day.
Two totally contrasting cars.
Great job guys
😎😎😎👍👍👍
Anyone happen to know the size of the bolts that go in the top corners of the front bumper? I know odd ball question but I lost mine lol
In the fender wells the screws or the top of the bumper under the hood ?
@@bigd9848 the top part where the bumper goes into the finder. There’s a tab and next to the tab there’s a bolt. It’s a the top in the corner.
@@kennethharrison1233 The bolt is a hex 12 mm You can Google it and it will show you all the front bumper exploded with each part labeled.Just google it it’s a little easier to see every bolt and clip.
I wonder if yall put katech thermostats in them?
Especially with the hood open.
Cool video, thx !
I just got my Camaro back i blew my motor got a new one thru warranty lucky i didnt do much im confused how a cracked a piston only thing i had was rotofab 103 katech tb ported msd and e85
Who tuned it?
@@RaceProvenMotorsports voodoo tuning I strongly believe it was the tune just asking to help clarify the problem so it won’t happen again
Not much else it can be honestly. Never heard of that company though
If i lived closer definitely give my car to yall love yall vids
Air intakes only makes the difference “slightly “ at mid to high rpm range ….off the line I doubt you’re going to feel it and most brands all are the same.
