No mention of the Orphan film? Mind blowing twist that little girl Esther is actually 33 year old homicidal woman who paints images of sex and death ( which can only be seen under black light ) on top of innocent images. Tries to seduce male head of household and kill other members of the family.
Jazzy Jaz yeah. It was really well done. They had some creepy guy stand in then just put the girls face over it for the whole "something's not right" effect. The same was done in Insidious with the old lady ghost... HE WAS A MAN!
I missed the twist in The Ring. You think it's the end of the movie and they have helped the ghost girl by opening up the well to set her free. Then young Cody say "you did what?" and you find out this only make things worse. I loved that plot twist.
I knew from the moment I saw that part on the capture/reveal green hairy roller-skater scene from What's New Scooby Doo,where Shaggy asks Scooby "Really,is there anything we won't do for a Scooby snack?",that bribing them into doing anything would be a bad idea!
@@littlebigbunnyrabbit9520 it was either angela or ricky based on skin tone of the hands in several scenes.the shock is less that it's angela and more that it's actually her brother peter.
Danielle Vaughn The "Sleepaway Camp" movies are great, but not exactly mainstream. They don't get the publicity that the "Halloween" or "Friday The 13th"(to name a few get). The two series that I named are among my favorites, I was just using them as examples. The 1st one ('SC") came out in '83, I believe. Not sure whether or not it hit theateres. The others have all been straight-to-video. To me, though, even though I like theatrical releases, you can find plenty of cool straight-to-DVD stuff.
TheShowStopper01 Rose being a part of it? Because it wasn’t really a twist that something was up with the family, it was made pretty clear from the start.
in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre when the hitchhiker and the gas station owner were revealed to be brothers to leatherface, i always found that one pretty good
What about the twist in Orphanage. The lady goes out of the house to call her son inside, and on her way, she pushes a desk back against a wall, and when she’s outside she thinks she sees her son at the entrance to the cave that’s near by, and the tidés coming in. They can’t find him afterwards, so she thinks he drowned, but he was in the opening to the basement that’s behind the desk she pushed back. And as she did and thus closed the door, she hit him in the head, and he died down there. Did not see that one coming
what about the plot twist in the horror movie "the Visit" it's one of the main reasons it makes the movie a horror movie and also why its one of the only movies I've actually got scared in a movie.
The Others is maybe my favorite horror movie of all times! It shows that there's no need to show people's insides to make a great horror movie.. You need good actors, script and cinematography
It was a good ending but come on... most part of this movie is boring as fuck and the jump scares predictable with tons of time for you to prepare yourself. Yes the acting was good but people are asking for the "horror" part when they are watching a HORROR movie.
Huge plot hole in Scream. I knew Stewart was the killer after the "I'll be right back" scene. When he went into the garage, Stew would have seen Tatum hanging in the garage door, and came back into the house freaking out about his dead girlfriend. Since he never mentioned anything, just saying she got pissed and bailed, that's how I knew he was killer.
Not to mention, the way Billy just happen to live through being slashed as well as stabbed in the gut. Scream 2 was more of a plot twist; I definitely didn't see Billy's mother coming lol.
Some cool ones: *Scream Killer reveals *Scream 4 killer reveals (but awful motives) *Orphan - Esther is really a grown woman *When a Stranger Calls - The call is coming from inside the house. *The Boy - When the boy was actually living inside the house walls, moving the doll around. *Sleepaway Camp - That goddamn terrifying killer that turned out to actually be a boy instead of a girl *Friday the 13th - Mrs. Vorhees is the killer. *Annabelle Creation - pretty much the entire film lol
John Daman The Mist as a movie is probably one of the few times cinema did it better than the book. That ending was heartbreaking but the fact that it made me feel that way shows it was a good movie.
I guess you go with Stu and Billy because they were the originals but Jill’s reveal as the killer in Scream 4 was a way bigger plot twist in my opinion. I’d go with that over Stu and Billy and even finding out that Billy’s mum has been in the Scream 2 movie the whole time.
when I first watched the others I was speechless, it was so unexpected but executed so well because you start noticing parts of the movie which pretty much reveal they are the ghosts the whole time before the end but you never think about it because you're under the impression they arent. amazing
#10 is the one that _always_ gives me shivers. I've not watched the movie, but every time I mentally play an urgent voice calling, "Get out of there, he's _inside_ the house!" I just get like Shenzi shuddering at the name "Mufasa."
‘Identity’ is one of my all time favorite movies. Always creepy. Gives me the same feeling as ‘The Sixth Sense’. Also, Psycho is my ALL TIME favorite movie ever. Such an incredible work.
High Tension, Happy Birthday to Me, Reeker, Tenebre, The Bird With the Crystal Plumage, Devil, Alice Sweet Alice, The House of the Laughing Windows, Goodnight Mommy, The Visit, Orphan.... deserved a mention too
You lost me at High Tension... that movie is such an abortion that the “twist” ruined the story of the movie which had her crash a car against herself? Once you kill your past story with in the same movie.... I’m done
I watched Scream (1996) and I know I'm 20 years late but It's a damn great horror film. The dialogue is so good , the characters, the impact of the slasher genre it is all in this film.Loved it
I’m very happy you did include part of the Saw franchise, but I believe one of the most shocking plot twists was Amanda Young’s ‘finial test’ (Saw lll), Due to her ‘death’ at the end.
The "Jigsaw" plot twist was beautiful becuase the whole time we were watching 2 different timelines in one film. Of the "Scream" franchise, Scream 3 hit us with the feels as the killer ended up being Sidney's half brother. Also, they kind of make peace with each other as he is dying, hence, their handshake.
Some of the comments here, Scream's twist was just so brilliant because despite making Billy the obvious suspect, the reveal was actually a huge shock. Rewatch it and you can piece it together and even hear Stu in one of the scenes when he's chasing Sid. It's still the best horror film of the last 30 years.

To me, the creepiest thing about the "Psycho" reveal was not that Norman was the killer, but that he actually believed that he was Mother, or Mrs. Bates.
I like the ending of Hide & Seek. The daughter is seen having an imaginary friend named Charlie who harrasses the father but in the end its revealed that the father is Charlie and that he has multiple personality.
The snake's death in Friday the 13th was real. It was someone's pet, and they were tricked into it. By the time they realized what was going on, it was too late and they were forced to stand off to the side and watch their pet get its head cut off.
Dr. Gordon becoming Jigsaw's new apprentice should be an honorable mention. The test subject from the first movie would closed the whole series as a apprentice. Nobody saw that coming.
For me, it was Jaws. "We're gonna need a bigger boat." The part where the captain is slowly sliding down his boat as Jaws is chomping away at the air, the slow inevitability that those enormous, jagged teeth are going to be ripping into him inflame anxiety throughout the anticipation. When it finally happens, and you hear his screams, followed by choking on his own blood, you can't help but experience the helplessness.
So if this video was released on Christmas then "Black Christmas" should get a higher spot? Or if on April 1st, "April Fools Day" should have been more than an honorable mention? Besides, it wasn't the franchise...it was only the first "Friday the 13th" movie with the twist.

Top 10 Dumb Decisions by Disney Characters
Top 10 movie plot twists is already a list
I can answer to number one in top 10 worst Cartoon Network series and number one is starts with a T and ends with an O
I bet not find Rocket Power on ANY of those worst lists.
You're Next is so underrated
Of course it's Psycho. However, Les Diaboliques & Don't Look Now should've got a mention too.
Les Diaboliques was creepy as hell and it has an awesome ending. Hitchcock supposedly was inspired by the film (as well as Robert Blochs novel) and 5 years later - Psycho.
What about Jacob’s Ladder? Perhaps the best plot-twist in horror, and definitely years before The Sixth Sense ever tried anything similar.
IMO jacob’s ladder is an even more cohesive film than the other, I remember getting headaches falling asleep watching the Sixth Sense, but Jacob’s Ladder kept me at the edge of my seat.
You want plot twists Saw has you covered. Sure not all of them are the best but still plot twists none the less.
WHERE is Orphan??? That was a genuine twist in the 2000s!!!
If anyone has seen “The Visit” then you know that’s the greatest plot twist of all time
Yeah, glad someone at least mentioned it here.
THANK YOU for putting Identity in here! One of my favorite movies of all time!!
Identity is a brilliant movie. Really underrated
Tell me I’m not the only one who laughed at 0:41 🤣
I always thought Billy and Stu were secretly together and gay.
You know what's a good film instead of repeating the same three over and over again?
The Uninvited. Real nice plot twist I hadn't expected when I first watched the movie.
*I Love Horror Movies And Horror Games So Much* 💗💗💗💗💗
The Others' plot twist gives me chills... the timing and the acting made it more intense
not the bees
6:50; well hello there Matthew Lillard (aka Shaggy Rogers)
The sixth sense ending had me messed up for a solid year

5:20
first time i heard this it sounded like it said
"dont talk to them"
"why?"
"theyre gay"
Omg The Sixth Sense was the biggest mind-blowing thing ever. Literally, I was just sitting there frozen still like I couldn’t move, for like ten minutes
