Yes, there is many (cut-in, pat document, music modding, ...)you can find discord server related to it and find information there (MBTL Palette,Meltycord, ...) but i don't know if there any guide for character modding beside the one pixloen is doing.
Yes there is but a quick note for you is that character above slot 27 doesn't work as intended so and my mod already use up all the 27 slot so you may want to replace my character instead of adding new slot. But in case you still want to add new slot then you should go to BtlCharaTbl.txt for the new slot and then go into btl_Define.txt or btl_Define_Chara.txt to define new character object ( make sure the number is the same as the number you put into BtlCharaTbl.txt). Then you just need to setup the character inside /data folder. There also CSelAnim.ini if you want to mess with character select animation stuff and btl_StdMoveTbl for some universal stuff like the jump after 3C,...
@@DoctorStrange-yb4kd you can extract character script and stuff from BB using GeoArcSysAIOCLITool and some other parser to edit character script but you can't just copy them into MBTL since both game using completely different engine and file structure. Only way to make BB character in MBTL is you build the character from ground up follow FB game file format ( like making a MUGEN character). The only thing similar enough is pat and HA6 for UNI St character in BBTag but take note is that the pat format in BBTag is outdated and doesn't contain most of the new shape in cl-r and Melty. Also BBTag only reading HA6 and pat purely for visual by use the HA6 to see which keyframes from pat should be blend together (checking if they share same pattern/sequence or not and this have change a lot in UNI Cl-r).
Sadly the game doesn't allocate enough memory for character after slot 27 so character isn't working as intended that why i don't put them on the character select, but i still left their file in for anyone interest in play as them

Yes but slot above 27 will have a few thing broke because FB doesn't allocate enough memory for it
