Boring ? I have to disagree with that statement. I think that any time you are able to fly even for only a couple of flights is a great day. I don't know what is going on with the weather, but it's great in Northern California. 74° here. I just can't go out, I need my hip replaced, I can't even sleep without waking up in pain. Most people don't care about landing gear in rc airplanes, but I find it so fun when you've got big wheels like that airplane, Bruce! 😃 Smaller wheels won't work well, but those big ones are amazing! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Too hot? it was 47 degrees F and rainy in North Fla. USA this weekend. I spent the weekend in the workshop trying to resurrect an OS FS61. What a mess.
Oh no, I didn’t realise that you had plovers over there in the land of the long white cloud. I hope they’re not as aggressive as they are here in Australia lol.
The only aggressive thing around here is Tim's flying :-) The plovers aren't a problem (nor are the magpies). We have taught them to be a fraid of anything that flies -- RC models are *great* for that sort of thing.
Buzzards here are good for a dogfight on occasion. When they’ve been bothersome I break out an old ParkZone Spit that got warmed up/beefed up years ago with a naughty geared inrunner and carbon spar, on account of buzzards don’t do vertical unlimited, immelmans or loops. Once they’ve worked out that they keep losing the height advantage and ending up with a Spit barrelling down on their arse, they get all huffy and buzz off. Stops ‘em wanting to mess around with slower stuff too for quite a while, I find. 😎👍🍻

Hot? I would take Hot right now. Since I am in Northern Michigan and it's only 13 degrees. I will not fly in this weather . Only a few short months, that sun will be marching its way back North. Still gets dark about 5:30pm as well. This time of year, we build planes. come summer we crash and burn them. Mabe we should reverse that. At least we could stay warmer that way.
