You can go inside the Sava Temple, I was around there yesterday, and also went inside.. It's super beautiful! Then did a nice evening tour and stopped at some coffee places.. One of these places was literally next to a park, and can also confirm what you said: It was full of kids with their parents and couples..teens having a laugh.. That's like the vibe of the whole city in general and I love it
Yes, entrance to churches in Serbia is free, but donation would be nice (also not neccessary). Also Saint Sava's Temple has little shop in the inside (just on the left when you get in), so there you can buy souvenirs or icons of saints, books, candles etc., so that is also a way to contribute. Nice video. :)
@@sarbeshmallick6452 The Temple and Church are kind of 2 different categories in Serbia (and in Orthodoxy world). We have both. This one is Saint Sava's Temple, because it depicts one specific event that happened on that place, it preserves memory of where Ottomans burned the remains of Saint Sava, our first archbishop, so they decided to make it into Temple, not into church. Temple has more spiritual meaning than church (although in theory, they are equal). As third category we have monasteries too. For example, in Bible, in Jesus's times, they only had temples there... Not churches. As orthodox christian nation, we are more connected to biblical terms than other christian denominations, so we also build Temples, not just churches. Temple is in fact in its function a church, but not every church can be temple. I think you can also Google about it further, i am not very proffesional at explaining in english.
That church should be open in the evening too. People should be able to go inside and light a candle, and I am sure many would make a contribution. BTW, very nice video again, I think it captures that calm, relaxed evening vibe.
7:48 There is no church, or mosque in Serbia, no matter of religion that you have to pay to get in. It is not a museum. Please don't tell me that there are churches you have to pay to get in.

Good job B. Cool video. Couldn't help and not hear that you said y were depressed? Here is one "one side" note from me. Rakia is No.1 cure for depression. ;)
@@bradbeckett You don`t need rakia , I think you need friends, or a girl. That being said, girls are a bit of a gamble, Serbian girls could potentially make you even more depressed ( just kidding...maybe ).
From your videos lately I can tell that your serotonin levels seem to be dropping.. Maybe it's time to change something in your daily routine and habits.. Maybe get away from big concrete jungles and visit some mountains and nature more often.. ;) Or just get some FEG, UniLayer and Burency and HODL lol...

Its nice how well the city suits you, how appreciative you are of what is good.
You should visit and film the temple inside during the day, it's beautiful, it's all over ❤️
I'll put it on my list!

Wait for the Orthodox Christmas eve (6th January) and visit that park then in late afternoon, evening even better. ;) Enjoy!

I don't drink alcohol outside of social venues.
@POL GBT if y r a solo drinker, yes. On other hand, when y seek a company beside, it could ease the troubles
@@bradbeckett make or attend one :-D
