I can definitely see a smart kid getting bored by public K-12 education; it's unfortunate they can't meet his learning rate needs in typical public school. If his parents are pushing him into this, I hope they realize that the kid will not have a lot of the priceless memories and experiences that one has growing up with his or her peers in the teen years and early college days. Some colleges like for an associates in mathematics tend to be light in the amount of classes you have to take.
In my college, to get such associates in math, you’ll need 3 calculus classes, 3 units from the list A, and 3 from list B. (Basically one class from list A and list B)
These majors seem to make quite some sense and can be done if you have the determination of only focusing on studying.

Don’t hate him because he is successful at such young age. Many will think he is missing an entire “childhood”by spending all his time studying and learning. But that is his childhood and he seems to enjoy it. For most people childhood is playing in the dirt running around and screaming mindlessly, or playing video games.😅😅

@@martinc.720 Yeah I know that. But the sheer amount of hours it takes to study, class, and test is enormous. If you pulled up all the hours and multiply it by five. It’s completely unrealistic and unhealthy to be up that long working that hard, kids can’t do that period. So I’m wondering if his schooling is structured differently because he’s gifted. My 8 year old can’t even stay up late if they tried. Something has got to be different except just him. Kudos to him, all the success in the world, we need more geniuses. But what’s up?

@@Zentinel_85 I think it has a lot to do with a loving , patient home environment and most importantly their diet . If he eats rice almost everyday and Fish, that can be a contributing factor .
I've heard that every single grain of rice has a vitamin on it . Rice is good for the thinking process . Vegetables and fruit is very important too . I hope I don't seem like I'm stereo typing about Asians eating rice , but , that is their main dish . My ex boyfriend is Chinese and he ate rice at least twice a day , everyday. He is extremely intelligent . He once told me that rice is the best food in the world for brain power . Starchy foods and sugar is the worst for the body . But in my case , I can't go 2 days without sugar because I start to shake and feel like I'm going to collapse . I can't go 2 days without Italian and Mexican food because I don't feel satisfied or happy and I end up dreaming about it in my sleep . Sorry for such a long comment .
