@@pappico Even after a year… Being romantically in love and spending so much of your time together is not idea for being friends after a breakup… Those feeling only linger on the surface waiting for the next moment of contact… It’s too risky and playing with fire, especially if both or one has moved on into another relationship… Unless we share custody of children, would be the only way for me to be a friend and only a friend but never spending nights together inside the same house…Alone… Too much stress and confusion…

For me, you can only be friends with your ex if you dont have romantic feelings with them anymore, cause if you still even a little feelings you’ll be end up hurting yourself, its more painful seing someone you love that doesnt love you back anymore. I have seen hot and cold behaviour in my ex-wife and she seems very indecisive. She is calling and sending messages almost every day, but still doesn't want a real relationship. I think she just want to be "friends" with me, but after we being together for 15 years, I just can't be friends with her. When I dated her 15 years ago, her behaviour was already then very similiar, she couldn't decide what she wants. I would not like to wait forever, already been separated for over a year now. Now and then she brings up that she is afraid that things would get worse again if we would live together, but it's just her imagination.
What I don't understand now is that in several videos you talk about no contact making your ex miss you and increase the chances of him coming back but in this video you say that by maintaining a friendship you have a better chance of ending up together again. You have said that by keeping ex as a friend he can't miss you because you are too available to him and by doing no contact he will miss you and start appreciating the good aspects of the relationship. Being a friend allows him to keep you close without commitment and keep you on a leash while he possibly explores other options. So, which is more powerful, silence or friendship? My ex said that it was easier for him to get over the breakup if we were "just good friends", but he only kept me close to make himself feel better. I said I want him out of my life and cut off all contact.
I notice a lot of coaches contradict themselves and each other. I think in general it’s a good idea to take this all with a grain of salt. Listen and consider their advice and then see what seems most logical for your own situation
I tried being mutual and friendly with my ex, and she said such negative and hurtful things then blamed me for everything, and then she blocked me . She recently unblocked me. The only reason I found out was because she was suggested as a mutual friend

In my case, I'm thinking to address to my ex that in order to moving forward to the next stage, I need to meet new people, go out there to hang out more frequently since I had a lot of times to reflect myself. This isn't mean I've moved on already, however, I think I need to clarify what I'm going to do now to my ex. Only because my ex thinks what I told him before and what actual my actions isn't match. That's why I think especially with my ex, I gotta address about it and to be having more consistent for him. Also I'm planning to tell him that my door is always open to him to become friend whenever he's ready. To show that I'm caring about him even after broke up.(He mentioned one time all he wanted from me was love and affection so.) I don't know wether this will be work or not, but at least in this case, I am able to left very open options for both of us without feeling pressure. In addition to that, It'll help me a lot to move forward and rebuilt my personal life without him, even detached more from him.

We’re been together for 4 years I did the no contact for two months than I contact her we went out we played bowling it was really funny but the next day she brought back all my mistake she’s trynna make me feel guilty I felt hurt I started talk about feeling than i went back to no contact. It's was a long distance relationship and now she is being friends with me since she broke up. Now she says she miss me sometime but sometimes act like she has nothing for me . What to do now.
My ex and I are best friends. We were together for two years, first and only relationship for both of us. We were close friends before we dated, and still are now, a month after breaking up. No contact wouldn’t work in our situation, because we have to see each other all day, every weekday, in school and after school. So I’m glad we can be friends. Sometimes we find ways to touch each other, even when we don’t have to, like the brush of a hand, etc. We sometimes still look at each other like we used to. Most people don’t even realize we’ve broken up as we seem as close as ever. But we are, and I wish we weren’t. We broke up on good terms, although it was devastatingly sad, with the reason being that feelings had faded, even though we are still physically attracted to each other. How do we get that back? How can I rebuild emotional attraction to me while maintaining the closeness to him? And is the fact that we are young (18) going to factor into how this all plays out?
