Don't know if your aware, but had you gone down that short side street next to Paulies home, you would've been in the front of Paulies lawyer, the late James LaRossa's, house. Pauls attorney literally lived across the street. I know this cause I did the stucco with a guy on his home. Cameras everywhere, including on the skylights glass on the ceiling. My father was in Paulies home several times and shared that the home was beautiful inside. I was there when I was a kid with my father. The gentleman who painted Paulies home gave my father the drop cloths after he was done with the home. After my father passed away, my mother threw the drop cloths away, unaware that they were used on Paulies home. Anyway, I enjoyed the video. Brought back many memories growing up in that area and of past days.
Cali lived very close that’s a fact.. north shore of Staten Island is OLD money.. big time legitimate people live over there.. lot of doctors, lawyers and white collar millionaires..
WOW!!! Watching this here in 🏴 & those houses you are driving passed are incredible. Great video & love your commentary great facts with your video. Glad I found this, don’t know how I did but brilliant to watch. What a house he had to.
Pretty sad to know that so much history went down in one house. Little did he know that when he left his home that afternoon, it would be his last time at the white house. It must've been pretty haunting for all those involved such as his children, his wife and relatives. Even his live-in maid Gloria must've had the shock of her life. I heard she instantly packed her belongings, took $18K and flew back to Colombia. What became of the house as far as ownership? Was it passed down to his children or was it taken from him after the Commission trial was concluded? Did his family sell it? I always wondered. Imagine owning that and not returning to it one evening.
As I understood it, his wife and daughter did live in the house for a little while after his murder, I wanna say maybe for a few years. At some point, they did eventually sell it. Don't know to who, though, and I also couldn't tell you who owns it now.
Had that affair gone on a year or two longer she'd have been in his Will and probably rich to this day from it but he never expected to be gunned down like a common street thug.
Having only been to times square to see a taping of David Letterman way back in 98' when I think of NYC and it's boroughs I picture flat land, gridded streets, tenements, traffic, taxi's, urban life etc. I had no idea Staten Island is high up. This is a nice part of Staten Island for sure.
I’m surprised Castellano didn’t choose to have a house right on the water. Did you by any chance look at the houses right on the shore? Well, guess he wanted one on the highest hill. And Corleone’s house looks like it should be worth a lot more than 2.2 million. Also, I’d be curious about the crime statistics on Staten Island. I would think they’d be low, considering all of the residual “families” living there. I don’t imagine they’d put up with much senseless crime there. Thanks Mooney, I really like these neighborhood tours the best!
Like in every city or town in America my friend they created ghettos as a catch all for most vices. Of course there is a ghetto in staten island where you think all them mobsters sold there heroin and cocaine. Look up park hill and Stapleton thats where the wu-tang clan is from.

You just had the most kickass NRA commercial play before your video. 'Merica.
Be careful with the speed cameras!!! LoL. Thank you for the tour. I’ve been through there but didn’t know who was who.
The feds called it “ The White House “
Years ago you could only read about this stuff
Now you can see a tour of it👍
Big house for a big man
Top vid
The house where Frank Cali got shot infront of is close to there as well I think
Cali lived very close that’s a fact.. north shore of Staten Island is OLD money.. big time legitimate people live over there.. lot of doctors, lawyers and white collar millionaires..
Thanks for sharing your video. Definitely paid a dear price for such a lifestyle.
How could you ever show Salvatore's house "Sammy the Bull" Gravano. Greetings from Poland.
WOW!!! Watching this here in 🏴 & those houses you are driving passed are incredible. Great video & love your commentary great facts with your video. Glad I found this, don’t know how I did but brilliant to watch. What a house he had to.
I’m glad you enjoyed it
Pretty sad to know that so much history went down in one house.
@@killerfrank8974 An Albanian business man bought it in 2000 for about 3 million i beleive. John Alite mentioned this in one of his podcasts.
They lived the life that most people can only dream about.
@@othellocampbell6839 was it worth it?
Having only been to times square to see a taping of David Letterman way back in 98' when I think of NYC and it's boroughs I picture flat land, gridded streets, tenements, traffic, taxi's, urban life etc. I had no idea Staten Island is high up. This is a nice part of Staten Island for sure.
They weren’t just cousins, they were brothers in-law. Paul’s sister married Carlo.
Mooney, have you done a video on Spark's Steakhouse yet?
How John Gotti Killed Paul Castellano | Midtown Manhattan
ruclips.net/video/XNAWn-wvlKw/видео.html
That was his house but when he had it , it did not look like that this house is an Albanian guys house now and he fixed it up like that
Albanian mob maybe?
Nope just a business man
I know allot of Albanians who have flower farms. They must also grow marijuana as well.
sick video dude love your channel
I’m surprised Castellano didn’t choose to have a house right on the water. Did you by any chance look at the houses right on the shore? Well, guess he wanted one on the highest hill. And Corleone’s house looks like it should be worth a lot more than 2.2 million. Also, I’d be curious about the crime statistics on Staten Island. I would think they’d be low, considering all of the residual “families” living there. I don’t imagine they’d put up with much senseless crime there.
Thanks Mooney, I really like these neighborhood tours the best!
There is a ton of projects in Staten Island so just because you see this part don't mean the whole Island is like it
Like in every city or town in America my friend they created ghettos as a catch all for most vices. Of course there is a ghetto in staten island where you think all them mobsters sold there heroin and cocaine. Look up park hill and Stapleton thats where the wu-tang clan is from.
@Marshall Carwood It wouldn't have been "LOUD" enough..
Wow Love it! I hope you get a chance show more historical stuff
Hey bud, good to see ya again, it's been a while since your last vlog..✌
Great video keep up the amazing work
Appreciate it
Great video. I've only been to Staton Island once and then only in the area right around the ferry landing. I hadn't realized how much less inner city urban and much more suburban it is. Looks like there are still some fair sized undeveloped lands. Thanks for posting, always enjoy your videos!
They have deer and wild Turkeys in Staten Island
That the St George area, I live in S.I. It's Beautiful over here. Well it was🤷🏾♀️
@@ivoryfyall4231 I used to live there in the 90’s and loved it. You said was, is it not beautiful anymore?
@@JRAHIT The Island is still beautiful but the ppl thats coming to live on S.I is making it horrible. The younger generations is outta control, So disrespectful, so much crime now. When I moved here in 2000, It was so beautiful & different, Now I'm scared to go out after sunset.
@@letsgomets002 they also have monkeys on Staten Island.
Thank you for videos like these. It’s like a tour from the comfort of my own home 😅

Always amazing when you see the sun out in New York.
